It's tough out there for CRAUs. Your experiences away from home have changed you; you might feel that you can't settle back into your old life, that your friends and family won't understand what you've been through. It's difficult for people who haven't been zapping around the omniverse to relate to you or your new view on things. Maybe you're looking for someplace to fit in... or maybe you're just not ready to stop adventuring yet!

Whatever your feelings are, wherever you've come from or whatever you've experienced, this is a meme for you.

RULES:
1. Comment with your name, canon, and previous game(s) in the subject header.
2. Say a few words about your character--how they've changed, what kinds of adventures they've had, what their feelings are about being summoned from their home worlds, or anything else you think might be relevant. Let others know what kind of situations you do (or definitely do not) want to play with your character. Do not leave your toplevel blank.
3. Tag around to others. Come up with your own ideas to play around with, or use the simplified random scenario list below as a jumping-off point.

Go here and generate a number between 1 and 8. Or pick whatever looks interesting. Rule of fun is in full effect here.
01. Support group. You've all gathered together someplace safe where you can talk about your experiences. There are snacks, drinks, comfy seating, and all the time in the world to express yourself.
02. Action/Adventure. You're battling a dragon, escaping a dungeon, dog-fighting space aliens, infiltrating a fortress, stealing a valuable treasure, solving a puzzle - anything that requires you to put your skills and knowledge to the test.
03. Angst. You've fallen ill, been injured in battle, or maybe have seen one too many new friends disappear at random. A little support and encouragement would go a long way right now.
04. Crack. Turned into an animal? Reverted to childhood? Forced against your will to express your feelings by singing? Don't worry; your partner is in the same boat.
05. Horror. There's something or someone hunting you or messing with your mind. You're trapped in a seemingly inescapable maze or dungeon. The horde of zombies you're fighting just won't stop coming. You are in danger, and it will take everything you have to get out of this alive and (hopefully) in one piece.
06. Slice of life. Down-time between quests or missions, or maybe there's just not much to do in this place other than hang out. Make new friends, bake some cookies, go for a hike, show off your cute pet, rope strangers into a water-balloon fight, tend to a garden, or pop some popcorn for a movie night.
07. Smut. Maybe you've picked up some carnal knowledge during your trip around the omniverse. Physical intimacy is a great way to bond with others and relieve stress.
08. Survival. You've wound up somewhere the amenities of civilization just don't exist. It's up to you and your companion to gather food or other resources, construct a safe shelter, or get that generator up and running so the life-support systems will kick in.

a few facts about Iggy:
He was pulled into his jamjar game from the canonpoint of the Flock splitting up and him going to find his parents.
While in the game he had a female schoolmate declare herself his girlfriend, which was fine and all until she tried to blow up the school using techniques he'd told her about, being a demolitions expert.
After that he got into a tentative relationship with another male student, they were good for each other and did a Habitat for Humanity trip after graduation.
Thanks to a mutations event he gained his (canonical!) ability to feel colors, yes, with his hands.

When I still bring him out to play it's after the game, he's gotten back to the 'normal' world, but is 5-10 years older and wiser and much better at making his way around even a busy city.

- Jamie was in a small jamjar for a few years before he wound up in Trans9 fighting space bugs. He is 18 years old.
- Fun things he's experienced include watching an entire planet be violently destroyed, learning that potentially everyone he ever knew or loved has been killed, slaughtering what he thinks are sentient beings before they have the chance to slaughter him, and nearly dying multiple times.
- Shockingly, he suffers from untreated PTSD which he deals with by pretending not to have feelings and overworking himself. He's twitchy and paranoid, doesn't eat enough and only sleeps when he can't avoid it, so he usually looks kinda rough.
- He also learned D&D magic, knows how to pilot an X-Wing and has giant robot T. rex, so that's pretty cool.

I'm open to everything but smut and crack, survival only if it's on the sci-fi side of things. Thinking of putting up a support group thread for anyone who wants to jump in once I get home from family stuff. :V

Ammond entered Jarjammed's massively broken SBURB session as an unapologetically rough-edged 7-sweep-old Alternian goldblood with a probably unhealthy interest in helmsman technology.
After ~9 months of her completely failing to figure out what she was supposed to be doing as the Gear of Choice the game ended in a victory state which was pretty cool.
Ammond and most of her found family group got shunted to We the Lost's Meadous, an extremely small, pastoral pocket universe that they eventually figured out was the training ground for a very young deity.
Spent the better part of a decade there, in which she took on the adult title Psymagus Waspfire, turned her biopsionic engineering work to more delicate projects, and picked up beekeeping, paper recycling, and brewing.
Single longest stable relationship is her moirallegiance with Ienzo of Kingdom Hearts; they've been together since Jarjammed. Also eventually got into a flushed/humanromantic pairing with a Changeling AU of Sailor Jupiter.
Deeply fond and deeply proud of the Meadous' patron deity, Zephyr, who by endgame had matured into a God of the Lost.
Because WTL was a CRAU-only game, she's heard second-hand about a lot of other games' settings; she refers to the broader phenomenon as the transuniveral abduction circuit.

As of WTL endgame, the Meadous is now a stable hub for interuniversal travel; Waspfire spends a fair amount of time exploring other worlds but considers the Meadous her permanent home. I'm totally up for her visiting worlds at random, dropping in on other WTL alumns, or even showing someone new around the Meadous. Good with anything except smut.

Scott was in TLV for quite a while, just post AvX. Graduated an Inmate (Clark Luther), had some relationships, made some peace, got pissed off at some people, fought with Steve Rogers A LOT, got his deal to change his world (mutants from M-Day got their powers back), and learned to relax.

It's been years since the Barge, but she holds those memories close to her heart - the unique experiences that have shaped her, beloved friends beyond her universe, and far more familiar faces she grew to love in entirely different ways.

Stepping from her classroom into some sort of liminal space is more exciting than anything, though her clothes do flare and ripple into her costume just in case. (Well, one of several. Emma is a bad influence.) The garden she's found herself in reminds her of the Barge's greenhouse - plants from across the universe flourishing together, some she recognises and many more she doesn't, humming with life and potential.

Just as she's wishing she had someone to share this with, she feels a very particular presence, and she spins around with a stunned but steadily growing smile.

"Scott." There's no mistaking him for the husband back in her own place and time; there's no hesitation running forward and flinging herself into his arms.

There's no hesitation in him, either, and damn close to no reserve (which isn't no, but that's not about her, it's just Scott's personality). He opens his arms, catches her and then enfolds her into a strong, warm, tight hug.

"If you were always the welcoming committee--" He'd leave a lot more just so he could come back.

"Is that charm, Mr. Summers?" Her eyes are closed, her voice is full of laughter, and she's simultaneously entirely relaxed and emotionally overwhelmed. God, she's missed him, and that poignant joy radiates from her like sunlight.

When she finally pulls back, hands still clasping his shoulders, her eyes remain blazing white. There have been pitfalls, backslides, but the union and comfort she found with her power on the Barge remains.

Of course, now that she's standing here looking at him, she has no idea what to say, where to start.

No, wait, of course she does. "I love you."

Yeah. Good. Keep that peace and comfort, Jean.

He rolls his eyes pretty expansively - but with good humor and fondness - at the question about charm. "It was not." His smile hasn't gone anywhere. "I love you too - and I've missed you. Are you okay? How are things?" With... not him? Or just in general.

Also? He's not letting go. His hands are still on her back.

- canon point is just post his canon exit point into hyperspace
- Spent a little more than 6 months in game
- Learned some survival skills such as tending for herd animals, gardening, and spinning wool
- Got to know a large Star Wars cast including just post ROTS Obi-wan Kenobi, just pre Mustfar Padme Amidala (and then her infant twins), post ROTJ Luke Skywalker, Cal Kestis, Din Djarin, Echo, Omega, Cobb Vanth, and Grogu.
- Visited Coruscant circa 900 before Prequel canon via an event, for about a month, including spending time in the Jedi Temple
-Spent a chunk of his time in game trying to shore up his training along his fellow Jedi and reading through texts copied from the Jedi Archives on Coruscant
- Via an event in which Marvel Comics!Billy Kaplan created a bubble reality ala Wandavision, has a set of memories of growing on Earth as fairly ordinary teenager in America, and having a much older biological brother who raised him Ben Bridger (but who was actually Obi-wan Kenobi)

- Well into adulthood, Bail thought he'd only grown up on a version of Earth that seemed quite the same as ours - in NYC.
- In his Earth life, he became a therapist.
- As an adult, he discovered he'd lived a previous life in another universe. His memories of that life came back to him slowly, not all at once. But he knows what happened in his previous life.
- He also learned that this was actually more common on this version of Earth, but it was all kept under wraps by a shady organization that also covered up strange events that sometimes happened on Earth.

"I love you," he says, coming out of the kitchen with two cups of tea. "I love your family." He hands one to Bail. "But I think I may need to go into hiding with you for a few hours."

Christmas with a big family was a wonderful time, but it was also a lot. Recovery is important.

"Only a few?" Bail teased, quirking a brow. Was it really a tease or an offer? His family could be... a lot, in more than one sense of the phrase. There were many members of the Organa family and at least three generations of them. Even he found them overwhelming at times.

He accepted the cup of tea.

"Maybe witness protection is necessary?"

He settles beside Bail, touching him and close but not quite as easily affectionate as he could be. That was almost entirely because of the hot tea in their hands. The tiny bit it wasn't was just a matter of settling in.

"Witness protection? Why, did I witness a crime?" that is a soft, snarky, joke. They are a lot but they're good people.
