Open your mouth, what spills out? Exactly what you're looking for in a partner β€” even if you're not looking or if you'd usually lie (to everyone and yourself, too) about what you really want. If the qualities of that daydream-person just so happen to describe the person right in front of you...awkward.

Double awkward if they're your best friend or your worst enemy. Triple awkward if they're a total stranger.

how to play
β€’ Comment with your character, their info/prefs, and a NOT BLANK COMMENT. Your character just poured their heart out about a person with whom they'd want to spend the rest of their days. Go nuts! Grab that character development or humilation. We stan an arc!

β€’ How whoever gets caught in the crossfire responds is the thread.

β€’ Expose those secrets and raw nerves. Torture's on the schedule...or an unexpected happy ending, because the other character's wishlist matches up.

TRUTH MEME
Sometimes, you have to tell the truth. No, I mean, you have to. Maybe it's magic, or a promise, or nanobots; who knows. But you have to tell the truth, and everyone knows it. Of course, do half-tuths count? What about lying by omission? That's up to you, and how far you want this curse, this ailment, to go. The only thing that can't be escaped is the truth, whatever form that truth takes.

What happens next?

You decide.
  • Post your character to the meme.
  • They have to tell the truth when they're asked questions.
  • What others ask is up to them. Nothing is off limits.
  • Your character has to answer... eventually.
  • Tag around and ask other characters questions!

       The Moment After Meme




You've seen The Morning After, and the Build-Up, and even the Mid-Fuck memes. But what about the moment after characters have done the deed? Do they cuddle or light up a cigarette? Go for seconds or reflect on what just happened? Hop into the shower to wash away their sins? Regret everything?

Well, we'll find out, won't we?

How it works:

- Post with your character, name and fandom in the subject. Include any prefs or no-no's.
- A set-up isn't necessary but hey, if you want, go for it!
- Others respond to your character.
- Congrats! They just had sex. 
- Have fun and be excellent to each other!

They saw you die. They attended your funeral, put flowers on your grave. They were absolutely certain that you were dead. Only suddenly, here you are.

Now what do you do?

Situations:
  1. Took Longer That I Thought: Maybe you got lost or stranded on a dessert island, or kidnapped by pirates. But whatever the case, you’re back now! Only everyone’s acting like you’re a ghost...

  2. Amnesia: You took a blow to the head and lost your identity. Now, you remember, and are going back to your old life. Of course, others have moved on with their lives.

  3. Sleeping Beauty: It might have been magic or the best of modern technology, but you were put into a deep sleep until some future time. Unfortunately, not many people were in on this plan.

  4. Only Mostly Dead: Maybe you got bitten by a giant spider, or maybe you were apparently killed on a hostile planet. Either way, they had to leave your ‘body’ behind. Except you weren’t as dead as they thought.

  5. Faked It: For whatever reason, you faked your own death. Have fun explaining that to your loved ones.

  6. Back From the Dead: It might be a deity or super-advanced aliens, but something or someone resurrected you. What was being dead like?

  7. Mix and match or make up your own!

I knew a guy born on Friday the 13th. That's not a joke, just a thing that happened.  



It's Friday the 13th. Maybe that means nothing, maybe it means things around about go horribly wrong.

Start either by describing the sorts of scenes you're into or save time by just writing a starter. Then apply Finagle's law of dynamic negatives:
