The BLIND DATE Meme
The Blind Date meme. Pretty self-explanatory. No matter how awkward and unexpected they might be, there is always something exciting about them. Who is your company for the evening going to be? Will it be a person of your innermost dreams or someone you absolutely can't stand? And most importantly...
How are you going to handle it?
What do:
1. Post with your character! They're now in the middle of a blind date.
2. Comment to each other! When you do that...
3. Go to Random.org and roll a single die!
1.4. Play out the date. This meme can be completely fluffy, smutty, or hilarious. If you don't want smut, you can put that in your subject. It doesn't even have to be romantic.First date-- You've never been out on a date before, so someone's decided to give you a helping hand.
2.On the rebound-- You're recovering from a painful breakup, but your friends/family think they found a great person for you anyway.
3.Not strangers at all-- Someone thought you didn't know your date. Turns out you know them from somewhere.
4.Hideously awkward-- Hey wait, that's your ex/boss/doctor/distant family member! Or, even worse, it's that person you absolutely despise. This will go well!
5.Existing partner-- You two are just acting like strangers to spice up your love life.
6.Future spouse-- Unfortunately, you have to have an arranged marriage. Fortunately, you get to meet that special someone for a date beforehand. How will the night go?
7. ...or, instead of rolling, come up with your own scenario!

ONE: comment with your character and preferences. is that ever not the protocol?
TWO: reply to others.
THREE: your character. that character. holding hands.
FOUR: comfort somebody! reach out for emotional support! keep a kid from running into the street! escape certain death, saving another hapless victim along the way! confess deep-seated feelings! get closer on a date! intimidate your opponent! ...hold their hand for no reason at all, since you don't l-like them or anything.
FIVE: this can be a gen meme. it can also be a romantic meme, if you're a filthy pervert. gross. how can you be so lewd?

 There's no one who understands better than you that in the trade of skin and vice and sex, there's no room for emotion. "Love" especially is worth less than the money you can ply - and more dangerous for its trouble, too. Still, you've broken the one rule of sin (don't fall in love, never fall in love, not with a client) and there's no turning back. So what will you do? Here's the rope made of decisions: use it to run away from the bed you've made...or tighten the noose.

While giving gifts for holidays or birthdays or celebratory reasons is all well and good, what about giving someone something just because? It could be something huge and extravagant! Or it could be that you passed their favorite candy bar in the store and thought of them.
Either way, sometimes it's just really nice to give someone a gift just because.
So, here's how this works.
1: Post a comment below. To make things easier on people that might want to tag you, leave an OOC note with a list of things your character will like. And for hilarity, or for those who aren't really good at giving gifts, you can add a things they might not enjoy so much!
