[ Despite all her bluster and posturing, Kyoko is a surprisingly shy girl. She's thoughtless enough to drape over somebody, push and shove and invade personals pace at the most inconvenient times, but the moment she becomes aware of her actions as something intimate the idea is enough to leave her red faced and mortified, and the more public it was the more embarrassing it was.

They're out on a date now. It was a fun day, the kind that she had never been treated to back home. Window shopping, going to the arcade, going out for dinner... They were leisurely, mundane activities that she never thought she'd be able to indulge in so freely, much less with her girlfriend.

Her eyes flick over to Mami as they walk along the path. Even now, it feels like she might disappear at any moment. But it's more than that. She wants to be closer, wants to get to know her better, and mixed in with the anxiety is a warm feeling that makes her want to do better and to prove to both of them that they can have a real life.

And as part of that... There's something she wants to do.

Her fingers twitch, and it takes her far too long to build up the resolve to do such a simple action, but after a moment her hand reaches out to take Mami's hand in her own. It's not like they've never held hands before - not even like they hadn't publicly held hands before, but it was always Mami pulling her along. It's a nice feeling, each time. Her hand is soft and warm, and it fits nicely in her own... And they're both here... And... So it's fine, right?
