You might be the biggest curmudgeon in the known universe, just as prickly as a porcupine. Perhaps you're on the other end of the spectrum, cool like a cucumber and never letting anyone get to you. They're not worthy of your time. Still, despite what the case may be, you have one little weak spot. The person you love gets all the sweetness and kindness you have, which admittedly may not be too much, and in your rare moments together, many would be shocked at how you behave. In fact, your special person might not even know that you can be grumpy outside of your encounters!

Well, goes to show that everyone doesn't know everything about you, do they?

  • This meme is pretty shamelessly for fluff, opening up, dokis, and also more dokis.

Bruised. Beaten. Stabbed. Sapped of energy. Tricked. Mentally played and abused. Perhaps you've even seen your home world destroyed, depending on how Homestuck you are. Any way you slice it, characters go through a lot of crap.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to see them get pampered and taken care of when they're ailing. In canon, they may not have someone who can provide them with care when they're injured, support and love when they're sick, and physical intimacy all around. In this post, AU or other scenarios can provide them with a caretaking partner of their very own (or, maybe, someone to take care of, if the reverse is their preference). So, for once, weary traveler, you don't have to carry that weight all by yourself.

to bring you out of the darkness;

The injury may not be a temporary physical or mental one, however. Some characters suffer more deeply, even if they don't know it. Darkness covers their hearts, they're withdrawn, insecure, angry, or lonely. They need someone to reach out to them and show them unconditional love.

This post can provide that, too.

Whether it be the cliche and shameless "changed by your love" trope or something more subtle like getting someone to open up, the characters here can offer that and more. All are welcome, they just have to take that first step.

Join us on a journey to the river Styx. Look for your heart and bring them back. It seems like a simple set-up- But there's a catch (there always is). A trial to face, an impossible caveat. You're willing to risk it all for them. Will you succeed or does your shot slip through your fingers right at the last moment. And will that weight crush you?

This is a meme based on the Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, a tale from Greek mythology about a musician who lost his wife. All he had to do to bring her back from the after life was lead her out with out turning back to look at her. Unfortunately her silence unnerved him. Right as they were at freedom, he looked back and saw her as she faded back to nothing.

There's the basic prompt, feel free to play from there. Whether your character succeeds or not, what their trial is, and who they bring back is up to you.
