Cultures handle sex incredibly differently. While it may be casual in some societies, in others, the act of copulation equates with commitment. And that's all in one species! This gradient of reactions and attitudes becomes even more complicated with the addition of different species. Yes, species...sentient and sapient, of course! Be those races alien, magical, vampiric, angelic, animalistic, or even a vague mutation of humanity itself, all have a somewhat nuanced view of what sex should be, be it healthy or unhealthy. There's probably even other ways to go about it for them, not to mention the variation in the actual mechanics. How presumptuous to assume that everyone in this whole wide universe would be shaped exactly like bland ol' humans?

Throwing two species together for a sexual rendezvous is inadvisable, yet it happens. Specifically, it happens in this meme. Whether the encounter is nervous, romantic, non-consensual, awkward, sexy, or anywhere in between, there's bound to be baggage, unfamiliarity, and the ultimate culture clash.

  • Comment with your character, your character's species, and your detailed preferences, because this meme will definitely push some boundaries. Mention if you're open to assumed CR and AUs.
  • I was fairly liberal while making this meme. Human-mutants or genetically modified humans can count as a different species, because I know there are a lot of those in DWRP.

you never thought you'd have a home, at least not one you can call completely yours, no strings attached and no one lording above you or controlling you. you may not have even known what a "home" truly is, or thought you wanted one. now, there is a touch of domesticity in your life, no matter what things are like otherwise, because you have a home, though you may not have a house proper.

most importantly, you now have someone to share this new facet of life with - a partner. similar to you or completely different, relationship unspoken or unrealized, heavily romantic or understated, they are slowly but surely becoming someone indispensable to you. you never could have seen this coming. and, of course, with domesticity comes a certain amount of intimacy, perhaps even the ultimate physical intimacy...you may be open to that already or you're working up to it when you'd hardly considered it before.

When it comes to the way affection is shown, everyone has a different way they go about it. That means that there's a pretty good chance, with regards to couples, you could end up with two people who have two varying approaches towards how they prove they care...sometimes radically varying, which can lead to more than a little confusion or hurt feelings if there's not proper communication. But when both people are on the same page, they can tell each other how they feel with few words.

The art of "leaving something to the imagination" may be dying, some say, so let's put it into practice. Stolen glances, heated touches, pinnings against walls, pining, brushing bodies, deep kissing, faces pressed in necks, and tension. Tension, tension, tension. Remember, sensuality, not sexuality, though the interaction between you could get heated when all of the senses are involved.

OKAY, FOLKS. We know that one of the best things about jamjar games is the fact that people from the same canon can be pulled from different times. Or people from different canons but similar worlds can be pulled from different times! Try explaining why space travel works to someone from the 1600s. Or cell phones to someone from the 1400s. HOWEVER, a lot of us don't have the time or energy to be in a full-time game, which is understandable! This is the meme for you! Or for people in jamjar games that want to play with other people. Not the cops here. You want timey wimey shit? We're here for you.

There's no specific setting or reason for this, you can make up whatever you want. Meet someone in a void. Meet in a hypothetical jamjar. Meet in your home world. You can make up a reason for the discrepancy if you'd like (time machines, time turners, wormholes in space that make a ship full of Romulans pass through and kill your best friend's dad...) The possibilities are endless!

NOTE: This can also be used for "we have to go back and change some terrible shit!" purposes. GO FUCK SHIT UP, MY FRIENDS.
