Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture.

So, play it close to the chest if you're going to do a big, big, big t a b o o. Is it worth the risk?

RISKY SEX

Cause baby when it comes to sex, when it's not risky it isn't fun.

  • You know the drill, sweeties.
  • Reply and do what you do.

  1. Risk of Discovery: You're in public - you sly dogs - or you're in a room with a third party who's attention may be caught if you're too loud.
  2. Risk of Ruin: One or both of you are in a relationship...not with each other, by the way.
  3. Risk of Pregnancy: Who needs a rubber? Well, actually, you kind of do, but you're too hot and heavy to worry about it or the extra danger makes the act even more enticing.

more than E X P E R I M E N T A L

In this laboratory setting you've found yourself in - be it a shady, fly-by-night hackjob, a secret governmental facility, or a sleek, state-of-the art facility - there's no room for error. What's done is done for science: pure, perfect, uncorrupted by human foibles. Data is the only language spoken, reason the guiding light. And for all this progress to occur smoothly, everyone must know their proper role, from the specialists at work to the lowly crew...and, of course, any experiments involved. Some more bleeding hearts would feel sorry for the latter, but make no mistake, they're little more than lab rats. They are not to be pitied. Emotion shouldn't even be wasted on them.

Especially not an emotion as messy and useless in and of itself as romantic love. Why, you wouldn't want to jeopardize the breakthrough of the ages on account of some fairy tale, would you? Besides, it would be the most unfulfilling of relationships, for you could never be with your beloved test subject.

Unless.

Unless you broke them out. Such an action would be highly illogical and, more importantly, met with severe punishment. Are they worth all that?

How to Play
- Your character is either some sort of test subject/creature/weapon/misunderstood and otherwise tortured prisoner of science OR an outside party (scientist, doctor, janitor, visitor, journalist, sky's the limit). They meet their opposite. They fall in love. Bad Shit happens. Nobody's happy.
- Comment with your character, preferences, role, info, all the good stuff.
- Reply to others.
- Be tragic and miserable together.

public sex meme.

The two of you are having sex - but it's a crowd, because you're in public. Or you've at least got an audience of more than just yourselves. Whether you have no alternative privacy, you're desperately horny for each other and don't care who sees it, this is a kink, you're being forced, it's a corruption angle, it's all the same in the end. Down and dirty, nitty-gritty, everybody's getting an eyeful.
