Perhaps you're new to the world of smut. Perhaps you're a pro - but just haven't done it all. Or perhaps you've gone through every page of the karma sutra, and added some of your own - and you're ready to start teaching someone else. This meme isn't about your first love, or your first kiss. Long-Distance Meme
One of the best ways to let people know that you care about them and think about how they're doing is to write a letter. Or maybe you prefer emails. Or carrier pigeons?! The point is, your friend/loved one is a long ways away. Why not write to them to brighten their day? And if all goes well, maybe a reunion isn't far behind!
PROMPTS
1. Prison - One of you screwed up with the law. Pass the time with letters and carefully x-rayed parcels, and hopefully this person can get out with good behavior.
2. Vacation - Send a postcard and goofy vacation photos. Wish you were here!
3. Moved Away - Someone had to move to a new city, or even a new continent, and you miss them terribly. Talk about the change of scenery, make plans to visit, bitch about the awful new neighbors.
4. Foreign Exchange - Whether you're a student, a diplomat, or an international agent of some kind, one person is required to go across seas.
5. Secret Mission - Someone is going undercover. Send letters to keep in touch, or to keep up their facade of a mild-mannered accountant so no one knows they're infiltrating the enemy.
6. Never Coming Back - One person died or went missing, and writing letters is one of the only ways the other person can cope. But what if they're not dead like everyone thought? They'll have a lot of reading to do!
7. Hatemail - You hate their face and everything about them, ugggghhh they suck so much! --Wait, you didn't mean to send that, did you? Oops.
8. Love Letter - All your gushing confessions can only emerge on paper. --Wait, you didn't mean to send that, did you? You're really bad at this!
9. WILD CARD - Go nuts! Write letters, texts, emails, make phone calls, and/or transition from long distance to mere inches.

Despite your better judgment, you've invited someone to your home to enjoy an "unforgettable luncheon". Innocent enough at first, but it's the big day and it seems like absolutely everything that could go wrong is going on. Nevermind the fact that your guest is here. Best friend, worst enemy, or something in between, you're stuck with them in this situation and you've got to make the best of it.
I hear making up ridiculous lies always works.
Guidelines:
- Your character (or the one responding to you, whichever you all prefer) is preparing a meal for company over. The other character is the one for whom the meal is being prepared.
- Things go wrong.
- Now your character must make this luncheon work to the best of their ability while making sure that their guest doesn't catch on.
These are just a few rough steps to help everyone get started. Feel free to adjust things accordingly and remember to have fun!

Interspecies Love Meme
Vampires and humans. Angels and demons. Ghosts and the living. The idea of "opposites attracting" is hardly a new one, but with the rise in popularity of supernatural creatures, aliens, and other sentient beings beyond our human understanding, the forbidden romance trope has been injected a shot of fresh blood- sometimes quite literally.
This meme does just that, taking the whole "not meant for each other" thing to it's most logical extreme. Of course, it's not always angst and depression. These days, mermaids and bird-people can have their relationships in peace to some degree.
Rules
- Comment with your character, putting any preferences you have (ie, "humanoid characters only," F/M, etc). Also, be sure to note your character's "species" for others to reference (Name | Character | OTA | Human, ghost, mutant, alien, vampire, god, zombie-catgirl hybrid, etc).
- Reply to others. If your characters aren't different species, feel free to AU or anything else like that.
- Use the rng to determine your prompt.
- Also I didn't think I needed to say this, but be excellent to each other. Dick comments and anon bullying are not on.
- Meeting: Did you know there were, I don't know, werewolves before this? Or maybe you thought all aliens were evil. Will this...thing change your perception?
- Falling in Love: You know you're not the same, but your feelings don't care.
- Self-Hate: Perhaps you're mad at the being you're in love with, yet you're more angry at yourself.
- Can't Be Together: Whether for self-inflicted reasons or societal rules, you can't be in love with who your heart has chosen and it's putting a strain on you.
- Pushing You Away: Things are getting too intense, and for both of your sake, you want to make friend/crush/lover hate you.
- Beauty & the Beast: One of you is beautiful, the other hideous. Maybe, though, the beautiful one is ugly in the eyes of society, depending on where you live. Whatever the case is, you don't look the same.
- Confession: Screw the rules, you're going to tell that sweet girl/guy/other how you feel! What can go wrong? Or this is something you've put a lot of thought into and you're scared, but you're going to do it.
- First Time...or Not: Finally, the two of you are taking the next step and getting physical. It may go off without a hitch, depending on your...you know, or- OH GOD, HOW IS THAT GOING TO GO IN HERE. Wait, you have a...?
- The Kinky Option: Hey, maybe being different will pay off. Think about it. A long tongue? Ghost powers? Sounds like it could be fun in the bedroom.
- Prejudice: "What are you doing with that dirty monster?" "You know we can't be involved with humans!" "We don't take kindly to your type around here." Why can't people just leave you two be?
- Facing Your Instinct: It's hard to be with someone when you want to suck their blood. Or eat their brains. Or possess them.
- Because of Me: Your lover has been dragged into your fight or hurt by others of your kind. Now they're in the crossfire.
- Standing Up For You: Hey, knock it off! I don't care what you think, he's perfect in my eyes.
- You Don't Know You're Beautiful: The fluffy option where you're trying to make your loved one see just how much you care and how they're beautiful to you, no matter what.
- Gifts: Show your affection with a gift from your culture.
- Starting a Family: Can you even reproduce? Is it something you want to consider? Perhaps it's new ground to tread, so you'll have to be the first to think about it.

  In most cultures, sex is a hallowed, intimate act that is supposed to be kept between two individuals in a private setting, not for the eyes of interlopers. But even outside of that, there are reason you'd want to keep you sexual activities a secret: your age, the fact that one or both of you are committed to others, your orientation not being common knowledge, the relationship itself being taboo or forbidden in some way, or the place you're having intercourse being one that is NOT suited for that sort of activity...like a public spot or a friend's home. Despite better judgement and in spite of all the danger, though, today you're having sex in a place or in a scenario where their is a high risk of being caught. HOW TO PLAY - Comment with your character and preferences. - Others will comment to you. - Why are your characters smutting it up? THE CRACK PAIRING MEME
crack pairing
An unusual relationship of any kind of fandom (i.e. books, television shows, movies, ect.) that is unlikely to happen.
OR
Randomly take two characters… they don’t have to know each other, they don’t have to show ANY signs of a relationship, and hook them together. That is a crack pairing.
We all know them. Fandoms have fostered these little gems of shipping since the early days, and now, they can even be serious contenders in even the most hostile of shipping wars. Maybe they're absolutely ridiculous and only "for the lulz." Perhaps they make perfect sense...if you squint. Whatever the case may be, these so-called "crack" pairings are not canon and they're nowhere near as popular in fandom as the big fanon pairings.
Most of the time.
Of course, it's important to note that a lot of the time in RP, pairings are always crack pairings. Especially crossover ships, which canon purists would deride purely for being impossible. Still, in memes, that's less likely to happen because people either stick with canon ships, fanon ships, or close CR because of the lack of opportunities for development that games offer.
Not here. This meme is for ALL your ridiculousness, all your high school fangirl dreams, and just plain not being sorry for your ships. Think these characters would be cute together? Go for it. That character have adorable icons and that all you know about them? Ship it, by all means. Here, the reasons come after the desire.

Players who are banned at other meme communities are not welcome here and subject to immediate banning on discovery of their banned status elsewhere no matter how old the ban is. Players banned from games will scrutinized on a case by case basis.
We rely on player reports on our problems post to learn about banned players! When making a report, please disclose the player's journal (or link to their muse list) as well as the community they have been banned from to allow us to confirm the ban and take the next step.
