Everyone loves a good trip in the woods… but there are some nights when it’s a little too foggy and that owl’s hoot echoes a bit too much. Then again, you might be lucky, and everything is bright and cheerful with candy canes sticking up out of the ground. That’s when you know you’re not in any ordinary huge clump of trees.

Follow the yellow brick road and don’t go off picking any flowers. You never know what you might find… or what might find you.


WARNING: Depending upon what you plot out, some things could be squicky for some people. Be sure to ask ahead with the person you're tagging if you have any doubts or questions!

TRIBUTE TO THE GODS
( an AU smut meme )

From the beginning of time, people have worshipped the gods of their choosing by offering sacrifices. The reasons - forgiveness, for good fortune, a prosperous crop season- varied, as did the mode of showing such reverence. In some cultures, a simple feast would suffice. In others, those nations more prone to violence and warfare, blood was called for.

Now, the gods once again call for bodies to be offered, but no entrails will be spilt. Instead, they ask for carnal pleasure. Why they need sex, no one knows. Whether it be for entertainment, to inspire fealty, or even in order to keep their powers, they require tribute all the same. Often, "younger" gods will need more sacrifices and more followers, while more established and older gods become known for individualized sex acts and habits. For the mortals, not only is being given by your people a great honor, but being a sex tribute to the gods has its perks. Pleasing a god will win extra special blessings, and, tales say, some gods will fall in love with their partners and keep them by their side, an action that means bestowing immortality. The most devoted worshipers might even earn a coveted, blessed gift from their patron: the honor of carrying a demigod child.

So, where does your character fall in all this? Are they a mortal? A god? This is an AU, so all characters can be twisted into gods, somehow: ie, the Starks from GoT could be primal, barbarian winter gods while the Homestuck trolls could be elder gods from the outer rim of space. Is the sacrifice consensual, or is there a reluctant human or a god who wishes they didn't have to bother involved? Most importantly, is the sex good enough to earn benefit for all?

If you're AUing your character into being a god, feel free to include some details like what their element or domain would be, family matters/pantheons, if they're young/old, how they feel about the whole tribute process, what they especially like, what it's like to outlive lovers, if they have worshippers, their nature in general, and etc. Go nuts and have fun.

Part of the appeal of the (under)age difference kink, as in legal-aged characters being involved with those that are underage, is how absolutely taboo and fucked up it is in most cultures. Romance is nice, but let's be honest; it's messed up, even if there is a romantic element. And that's what makes it fun. This meme is for nitty, gritty, not always pretty side of underage. You can play the psychological angles of both sides, whether their actions makes the older party tormented for their decision, and all the filthy, dirty, guilty, and sexy facets this kink can offer.

But my character is a good dude and would never _____! Well, you can always say it's a moment of weakness, they didn't think, aliens made them do it, emotions made them do it - or say fuck it, it's a meme. Make them feel guilty about it later.

But my character is underage and I want them to be the older party. Age them up or play against someone younger.

It's textbook, really. Or, more accurately, parchment, because you've either found yourself or always been in a time (it doesn't necessarily have to be medieval) where swords - and possibly sorcery - are the weapons and the mindset of the day; at the very least, the rough and tumble attitude that comes with a knife's edge permeates the land. And you know how to wield a weapon, be it a blade, your own body, or something else entirely, so you've put it to good use.

You've become a sworn sword to protect someone.

It could be out of the goodness of your heart, out of heritage, or stemmed from a desire for compensation or power. No matter what the cause, however, one fact remains the same, and that's how you cannot let emotions cloud your judgment.

Of course, that may be a little easier said than done. When you're so close to a person, in order to keep them safe, and when you put your very life on the line...
