THE LOVE CONFESSIONS MEME
Confessions of feelings are rarely as nice and romantic as they seem in the Hollywood flicks. Sometimes, they're screamed across an empty house as someone leaves. Others, they whispered across white pillow cases as bodies lie close together in the dark. Of course, these feelings may not be returned, but it may be the only shot you have.
If you even meant to spill, anyway.
How to Play
- Comment with your character, putting your information and preferences somewhere in the comment.
- Comment to other characters. Roll the RNG to get your prompt, or pick one.
- Play out the scene and take it whatever direction you'd like.
- Be cute and fun or sad and depressing.
Prompts
1. Planned: You've been planning to tell this person how you feel, and you know exactly the way to do it.
2. Spontaneous: Uh-oh, it just slipped out! Maybe you weren't thinking, maybe it was a fight, but somehow, your secret's out.
3. Heat of the Moment: What's better than calling someone's name out in the trows of passion? Why, telling them you love them, of course!
4. The Last Time: You're coming clean with your feelings because you're dying, moving away, leaving the planet, going to war, whatever. Might as well when you'll probably never see them again.
5. Jealousy: You've seen the one you love in the arms of another, and you just have to let your feelings be known so they don't end up with the wrong person! Selfish, what's selfish?
6. Drunk: A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, so maybe you should be careful what you say, or you'll be telling your best friend you have the hots for her. Awkward.
7. Lie: You don't actually have feelings for this person, but you need them to believe that you do in order to use them, get something, or perhaps to not hurt their feelings.
8. Sweet: You confess...and they feel the same, and have wanted to say it for a while. Oh, how cute! Go on and enjoy your cute little romance.
9. One-sided: One of you confessed, but it's completely unrequited. Can you still be friends, or is that too painful?
10. Forbidden: Your love for this person is totally uncool - not allowed, even. But it has to be brought to light, preferably by you.
11. Unfulfilled: While you both love each other, you decided mutually that this can't go any further.

 Smut is great. And, to go hand in hand, kink is good. Angst is good, romance is good, sexy sexy sexy is grand, the whole nine yards. Some days, though, you just want to play adorable smut - where "cute" wins out over smoldering sexiness - and nothing else will scratch the itch. Whether it be a first time, canoodling between lovers, an awkward rendezvous, friends to more, someone learning the ropes, an attempt at showing true feelings, amusing "messing around," or anything your mind can come up with, the only rule is that things must be absolutely cute...at face value or in a twisted way.

There are undoubtedly moments in our lives that define us, no matter how crystal clear or hazy or memories of those times are. In the case of hazy recollections, it's more likely than you'd think. How strange it its that one inconsequential, in the grand scheme of things, event can change the course you take...not always so seriously or dramatically, of course. You can't remember why you don't like soup; in actuality, you burned your tongue badly on chicken soup at one point, long ago. You'd forgotten, but your mind and body didn't. More weighty traumas that you've unknowingly pushed back can work in much the same way. You shy away from using scissors as you feel a shiver run down your spine, not necessarily as you remember blood gushing from toddler-sized fingers when you played with the big-kid scissors and cut yourself. Still, there is a connection and it keeps you "safe" through past experience. The consciousness is amazing in that way, constantly making associations that, for better or worse, shape how we view the world around us, though we may not always recall what brought us those views. In this meme, however, there's no way this particular association - a special person, being around them, and your happiness - can go unnoticed, and you know the exact cause. In fact, you can track down the exact moment: this person came to you when you were low, perhaps even at your lowest. Like some guardian angel, they showed you kindness, they turned your world right side up again, they gave you a helping hand, or they granted you your life when they could have taken it. Perhaps it was something as simple as not treating you like trash. At that particular time, what they did meant everything. Whether you see your response to this as a welling up of true love or merely you owing them a debt, what you feel towards them cannot be measured. Even if you're usually as warm as a giant block of ice with a black heart, you have feelings towards them you can't quite understand. If you're emotional at the best of times, you'll most likely be completely overcome. Whatever the case may be, what you know for certain is that you want to stay with this and feel that lightness in your heart. Depending on what other associations you've made and how you've figured the world works for you, this desire could lead to actions going smoothly or terribly, terribly wrong and creepy.
