● 02 START OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL | You've just got together and everything is great! You can't stop thinking about each other or keep your hands off your significant other. You want to spend all the time you can together, doing whatever!
● 03 CAN'T GET IT UP | It happens to everyone, honest! For whatever reason, you just haven't been able to perform or maybe you're just not interested in sex. Is it because things are dull? Is it because you're not attracted to your partner? Or have you just been too busy or stressed out?
● 04 SAW YOU LAST NIGHT | You think you saw your partner in the arms of another - was it an honest mistake or is something honestly going on here?
● 05 FIRST TIME | It's the first kiss or the first time making love with your partner and you're so nervous and awkward, you're sure you'll mess it up! Maybe you do, but that's okay... they like you, right?

So, here's the plot:

You and the person you've just tagged are now on your way to theirs, or yours. And that doesn't mean their hip chic apartment overlooking the city, nope. You're going to their home home. Like, with their old crusty dog and their kid stuff and their parents and Sunday lunch.

It's kind of like meet the parents, but y'know, the parents might be dead, so you're meeting the ratchet looking cat and housekeeper. Or, you might not have spoken to your parents in years, and you all hate each other. Sorry for you, but you guys don't get a choice, something is forcing you.

So, jump in the car/starship/carriage/taxi, make it a road trip (or a crazy escape, or a reluctant mission), and go cruise through to their/your old hood.

Hopefully their mom likes you, oops good luck to you son.

MOVE IN TOGETHER meme

After months and months of dating, or at least love/lust from afar or admitted chemistry, you and your special someone are moving together. Maybe it's into your dream home, maybe it's one of your places, perhaps it's a hole in the wall and the only place either of you could manage. Still, it's yours, and that makes everything more than all right. You're on your way to domestic bliss - or will you both realize that living together can mean a few more disagreements and a few less rose-colored glasses than there were together? Cooking and cleaning and other chores for two are no easy job. And, of course, you have to be prepared for a greater level of intimacy, in whatever form that takes.

How to Play

Comment with your character, gender preference, and any preferences such as no smut, fluff only, yes smut, angst, etc.
Reply to others.
Feel free to play any scenario, any angle, any scene taking place from the moment of moving in onward. You don't even have to really play it straight - maybe your characters are having to live assumed lives and under new identities.

A SMUT MEME

Hot springs are considered rejuvenating in many cultures, from Asia to Europe. All that natural heat and the minerals from the earth flow through water and call throngs of people to come and enjoy the resorts that pop up around these wonders of the world. You, however, would never go to one. You're insecure about baring it all in public; maybe you don't even go out in public because your appearance would make the uncaring crowd lash out at you. Maybe it's just not your scene. You could not know anything about hot springs!

But you're at one now, no matter what, and you're going to be taking a skinny dip - or near it - whether you like it or not. To make matters worse, you're sharing your little pool with someone else. Hey, you don't know them! This place could not even be in your world or your time.

There's little options otherwise, though, so you might as well enjoy the time you're here. Soak and relax, let those tired muscles get a break. Soon, all your troubles, your worries, your ailments, your imperfections all begin to fade away...as do your misconceptions. You know this person, don't you? Yes, you do. Actually you know them very well. You're with them. You came with them, it seems to you, to reconnect, a lover's getaway. After all, what's more steamy than a hot springs?

So go ahead, do what you've intended to do. No one will mind if you get a little frisky in the springs if it helps out your relationship; besides, what do you think some of the extra natural minerals are for? They'll certainly help you get hot under the collar, not that you'll need that. Your (new) mutual history should be enough.

All characters are welcome. Appropriate, inappropriate, serious, whatever.
Reply to others. You can hash out your what your characters will eventually believe their shared history to be, or just put up a starter and play it by ear.

The approaches can be serious, goofy, fluffy, indirect, awkward, unplanned, perfectly executed, whatever you want. Be cute. Be tsundere. Do it in person. In a note. IT'S UP TO YOU.

In Everything But Name

You've shared glances, felt the connection, figured out your feelings for each other. Both of you know that you want to be close - as close as you can be. And there's the catch, because there always is one, isn't there? As close as you can be.

Because while you might consider yourselves together, that can be in everything but name. You still have to face the harsh realities you live in that may not look so kindly on your love. So you play what role you have to, regardless of what you know in your heart. Deep-vested knowledge, security, and subtle gestures will have to do for now.

But one day, will that not be enough?
