It's happened to all of us. You play a character that's such a complete asshole, that on the surface, playing out fluff looks and feels totally, completely OOC. But is it? IS IT??? Or perhaps you ship something that's generally so full of angst and hate that fluff seems out of the question?

Hey, man, jerks need love too. Here's your chance to get some cutesy schmoopy disgusting fluffy crap for your muses and ships that should never, ever, ever do fluff out of your system. Simple as that.

Post top level comments with your preferences, your desires, your hateships that you want to see thrown unwittingly into fluffy, adorable domestic bliss.

If you see something you'd like to play, just RNG it or pick from the list below or do your own thing. I'm a meme, not a cop.

Florence Nightingale Effect Meme

1. Previously aloof tough character gets injured, lets the love interest treat their injuries, and reveals a newfound trust and intimacy. This might or might not involve the tough person making that hissing sound when the love interest touches their injured face, but not quite pulling away...

2. The love interest gets injured, and the tough character treats them and suddenly reveals a tender side.

It's an old trope, admittedly, but an understandable one. You're hurt - physically or emotionally - and perhaps even on the brink of death. And then, out of the blue, someone saves you and brings you back. They heal you, they feed you, cloth you, wash you. In the human mind, the intimacies can bring up warm feelings, even in the hardest of hearts. Will you fight them or let them grow? And what about when it's time to leave? You may not feel like leaving your angel...

HOW TO PLAY
1. Comment with your character and preferences. Mention if you'd prefer to play the healer or the healed - or both, for greatest versatility!
2. Reply to others.

NOT EXACTLY PROMPTS, BUT IDEAS
- The finding and saving
- The hurt/comfort care process, I.E. cleaning wounds, bathing, wrapping bandages, etc.
- Feeding, finding clothes, etc.
- Mother hen behavior ("you're still hurt, don't do that!")
- Comforting from trauma
- Unwilling patient
- Pulling away, trying to be all aloof
- Realization of growing emotions
- Denial
- Attempts to instigate something more
- Jealousy at seeing your savior with someone else
- Confessions
- Mutual attraction
- First (accidental or no) kiss
- Obligatory sex scene option
- Make your own scene

wake up, wake up, it's only a bad dream meme

bad dreams are ordeals, sometimes seemingly endless. when you wake up, your heart pounds, your head hurts, and you end up drenched in sweat. even if you know none of it was real, it takes a while to orient yourself.

it is pretty nice to have someone there to wake you up or to soothe you out of it and remind you that...

it's only a dream.

the usual rules apply. post with your character and preferences and then tag around, have your characters comfort others.

the mermaid meme

Life under the sea can be grand! Who doesn't like singing and leading men to their doom and swimming with the dolphins? Mermaids are in tales and legends from all across the world, but you don't have to limit yourself to just being just half fish. There are selkies and other creatures of the sea who sometimes come up on land or who are part human, and lots of myths and situations to explore. So come on and dive in! The water is fine!

directions

1. Comment with your character, series, preferences, etc in the subject.
2. Indicate if you're a mermaid/other creature or a human.
3. Reply to other comments and play a scenario out!
4. Watch out for fishnets!

WE DON'T HAVE TO TAKE OUR CLOTHES OFF TO HAVE A GOOD TIME

clothed sex meme

Quick. You're getting too turned on and there's no time. You'll be discovered! Or you just don't want to have to deal with buttons. Or the raptors are coming and you have to hurry, hurry. You have to have sex and have no time to take your clothes off. That, or you just want your partner to leave their hat and books on while you have hot sex. No big deal.

The short and long of it: it's a clothed sex meme.

the second chance meme

You took them for granted, that's a fact. Maybe you were cruel, maybe you didn't notice them, or maybe you just didn't tell them how you really felt...or you didn't get the chance. You couldn't get yourself in line and you were stupid before and didn't realize what you felt for them. And now, they've moved on (or so it seems). You haven't. You feel like you lost your shot. It could be far, far too late for anyone!

You're faced with them once more. You've gotten one more chance. You've used it, too - you've just confessed flat out! It came out of your lips with no provocation. So what do you do now? Follow it up with more blabbering confessions? Try to be smooth and win them over? Apologize? Hug and kiss them...or steal them away?

What's more important, though, is how they respond.

Rules
+ Leave a top comment, preferences etc etc.
+ Your character has had their second chance to confess their true feelings to the characters who comment to them.
+ Go from there.

The MISSED (RP) CONNECTIONS Meme

Ever had one of those great, really promising threads that died out of nowhere? Or randomly had a fantastic thread with someone you now want to continue playing with but aren't sure how to approach them? Or maybe you were the one who dropped, and you want to find out how your old thread partners feel about backtagging.

Whichever it is, here is the place.
