The Moment After Meme

You've seen The Morning After, and the Build-Up, and even the Mid-Fuck memes. But what about the moment after characters have done the deed? Do they cuddle or light up a cigarette? Go for seconds or reflect on what just happened? Hop into the shower to wash away their sins? Regret everything?

Well, we'll find out, won't we?

How it works:

- Post with your character, name and fandom in the subject. Include any prefs or no-no's.
- A set-up isn't necessary but hey, if you want, go for it!
- Others respond to your character.
- Congrats! They just had sex.
- Have fun and be excellent to each other!

"Aftercare is the process of attending to one another after intense feelings of a physical or psychological nature, usually relating to sexual and/or BDSM activities.

Some sexual experiences can be exhausting, and drain the participants of mental, emotional or physical energy. As a result, one or all participants may require emotional support, comfort, reassurance, and/or physical tenderness."

HOW TO PLAY:

oo1. comment with your characters
oo2. include preferences
oo3. roll and respond to others!

You can start in the beginning or middle of the sexual encounter/scene, but aftercare should be included in the scenario at some point

WARNING: this meme includes sexual scenarios that may be triggering for some people. Please be aware of other people's preferences, and ask if you're unsure!

THE AMUSEMENT PARK OF DOOM
This meme may contain triggers. Click through at your own risk.

Everyone loves an amusement park: the rides, the games, the sights and sounds and smells of cotton candy and popcorn. It is a child's dream, an adult's playtime, and a source of fun and entertainment for all who visit.

At least until the sun goes down.

Welcome to the amusement park of doom, where darkness brings a complete transformation. Beware the rides, brave soul, unless you care to risk more than an upset stomach. Venture not into the haunted house, unless you want to find more than you bargained for. And never, never touch the food.

HOW IT WORKS
♦ Post a comment with your character name, canon, preferences, etc. Are there options you do or don't want?
♦ Others will post and join you at the amusement park. You can use RNG to pick an option, or just choose one.
♦ Try to get out alive. Or don't, if that's your thing. I don't judge.

warning: possible triggers for blood/violence/monsters ahead )

The NIGHT OUT Meme
It's gonna be a good one

The Premise:
Your character decided to go out to (or somehow magically up ended up at) a bar for a beer. Or maybe they smooth-talked their way into a classy cocktail bar. Or did they hit up a night club to do body shots off a stranger and dance the night away? Maybe the bar is underwater for no real reason! Whacky!

But the bar doesn't matter so much, as long as your character can have a good time. Even if they need a little arm-twisting from their friends to get there.

Instructions:
1. Post your character.
2. Providing a set up or a few ideas isn't necessary, but it might be a good idea!
3. Others respond.
4. I think we all know memes well enough to know what to do actually.
5. But I just like it to look like there's instructions.

You All Meet In A...

Originally this was going to be a Magic Knight Rayearthesque meme - you know, princess begging for aid, dramatic flash of light, bam, new world - but then I'm like eh. Eh! I can broaden things.

So basically you're a band (and by band I mean two people since can you imagine a three person thread of random Bakerstreet meme-goers?...feel free to prove me wrong, please) of adventurers who are about to set forth on adventure! But first things first. Meeting your new traveling companions.

  • Post.

  • Reply to other people. You have just met them and are poised to embark upon a totally badass adventure.

  • How did you meet? There's the traditional tavern option, but frankly speaking if you want drinks there's a better option with less stabbity and probably bar fights out there.

But still. If we're going to go with the less obvious, then...

    1. Your characters responded to an ad requesting people with certain skills, skills that your characters happen to have. Most traditionally some kind of scientific expedition, but guards or an escort of some kind could be plausible.

    2. Your characters wake up in a strange place with no memory of who they are or how they got there, but they remember each other. Added bonus if they have some eerie dream implying that they were chosen by some strange power to do great things.

    3. Your characters ended up being brought to a strange land by a strange power and basically this is the jamjar option in that they know they cannot return until they slay the evil and restore harmony.

    4. Your characters are passengers aboard some sort of mundane vehicle that happened to get hit by some sort of disaster - hijackers or an explosion or some sort of natural causes - that wackily brings your characters together to escape and then move onward.

    5. Your characters are marked by something - a higher power or perhaps just a cult - and they happen to notice the other's branding when they're getting mochas at Starbucks or something and realize...oh. Oh. They're on the same side. (There's also the option to twist this one around, like the other person is a spy or whatever. Actually, I guess you can twist most of these around, can't you?)

    6. Your characters vaguely know each other but then realize that they really should get together and talk about shit after a group of people known as mutual friends/acquaintances/people both characters know and have an interest in start dying, one by one.

    X. Your characters say fuck the numbers they do what they want and give no fucks.

  • And if you're really hard up for something for your characters to be seeking, whack this or this a few times until you get something functional.

  • And please save the world, legendary Magic Knights...!

Matchmaker, Matchmaker

Isn't it so awkward when people set you up on dates? Blind dates can fail tremendously in the worst possible ways... or, sparks can fly. It's really impossible to know until you meet whether you'll make that connection!

1. Post with your character, name and series in the title.
2. In the comment, list your character's preferences. Gender, place on the morality spectrum, hair color, whatever.
3. Reply to other characters with someone who you think fits their preferences.
4. They are now in a (date location), having been set up on a date by a mutual friend/dating service/whatever.
5. Enjoy! Or don't enjoy! Whichever.
