A Different Kind of TFLN Meme


Everyone loves TFLN, except for the people that don't. However, these stray drunk texts raise many intriguing and valid questions. How did fifteen watermelons get on the roof? Who went home with the guy dressed as a banana? Why were your pants replaced with rhinestone chaps and a poodle skirt? Where does one get a stripper pole at 9pm on a Sunday? Most importantly, what the hell happened last night?

Let's find out.

How to Play:

1. Go to Texts From Last Night. Choose a text, or click here to get a random one. You probably know this part already.
2. Here's where it gets weird.
3. Write a short scenario based on your selection (5 sentences to a medium length novella) giving some situational context for why you sent the text--or why the text was sent about you.
4. Other people respond to your scenario. Maybe they showed up because of the text, maybe they walked into your drunken shenanigans by happenstance. Either way they won't find any dignity here.
5. Party.

HOW IT WORKS

• Post a comment with your character with the standard name/canon information. In the body of this comment, list one or more (but no more than ten, let's not get overeager) things that you particularly want to play with that character. (Like, "1) I've always wanted to see what would happen if Joe met a version of himself from the evil mirror universe.")
• Other players will look through the listed options, and if they see a scenario that interests them, they respond with that option's number.
• Have fun threads.
• Be excellent to each other.
