v. shades of gray. Morality is a spectrum too wide to be completely covered in one meme, so this option is for those who want to explore something else.

ROLE.

i. the student. No matter how skilled you are right now, you still have much to learn.
ii. the master. It's your responsibility to teach and discipline those under your care.
iii. the rogue. You answer to no one and are responsible for no one, save yourself and your loved ones.
iv. the mook. You answer to a master, but they're more like a boss than a teacher.

RELATIONSHIP.

i. targeted. You want to save this person. You want to kill this person. Or maybe you just want to see how long you can follow them without being spotted. Either way, they mean nothing more to you than a goal to be realized.
ii. duty. Whether you like this person or not is irrelevant; you have no choice but to obey, serve, or otherwise take care of them.
iii. devotion. Unlike the above option, your bond toward this person transcends any kind of obligation.
iv. attraction. Love (or lust) has somehow found a way despite the dangerous life you lead.
v. antagonism. There's only hatred between you two, or at least an intense rivalry.
vi. other. Have something different in mind? Here's where it goes.

OBJECTIVE.

i. training. You seek to achieve a higher level of physical ability, clarity of thought, or spiritual harmony.
ii. stealth. Infiltration, reconnaissance, or the acquisition of something important; the point here is to avoid detection.
iii. revenge. Evening the score might be the only way to restore your honor, avenge a fallen loved one, etc.
iv. combat. Ninjutsu action!
