Romance doesn't come easy. Occasionally there are those moments where it's love at first sight, but to really fall in love, these things tend to take time! That's where this meme comes in handy. Meet your childhood friend, and then meet you childhood sweetheart! How did you meet? How do you reunite? Roll the dice if you wish or pick out a scene.

1. Post your character, putting any information or preferences you have in your comment.
2. Others will reply. You can play the then or now or both.
3. You can use the RNG if you want.

THEN...
1. Bullies - One of you was picked on by your peers. The other wouldn't stand for that!
2. Lost and Found - You were separated from your parents/guardians. Thankfully you had someone your age to help you find them again!
3. Playground Pals - There was always one kid who was WAY more fun to play with than the others.
4. Betrothed at Birth - Your parents arranged your marriage. Did you even care at that age?
5. Roller Skating Romance - You were skating at a friend's birthday party, and were TERRIBLE at it. Good thing you've got someone there to hold your hand and keep you from crashing into walls!
6. Next-Door Neighbors - You just moved into your new house or apartment. The transition is rough, but a friendly face can make the transition so much easier.
7. Did NOT Get Along - Childhood sweethearts?! Yeah right, that person was a total jerk to you! All that talk about just trying to get your attention was a big fat lie!
8. Phobia Shield - Perhaps you were scared of lightning, or bees, or dogs. This person always knew just how to calm you down and make you feel better.

1. Pirates! - One of you is kidnapped by pirates! Or maybe one of you is the kidnapper, intent on finding your childhood sweetheart and saving them from a life of mundacity.
2. Social Network - One way or another, you had to see what happened to that person who used to mean so much to you. Are they happy? Are they healthy? Are they still single?
3. Educated - What a coincidence, you're in the same class in high school/college?! Who could ask for a better study partner?
4. Injury - Whether it's a sprain or a brutal mugging, you just so happen to receive help from someone you haven't seen in years.
5. Rags to Riches - Their rich distant uncle passed away and left them a huge fortune?! So THAT'S why they had to move away as a kid! Now it's time to catch up on old times, preferrably with roses and carriage rides.
6. Riches to Rags - Things have been bad ever since you were orphaned, leaving you to work in a less-than-savory career. Scrubbing floors, selling artwork for pennies, pole dances... If only someone could take you away from it all!
7. Accident - You just ran over their dog! How could you?! What a terrible way to reunite!
8. Stranded - Whether it's a deserted island, a ghost town, or a broken down bus, you two are stuck together to find a way out. ...Something about this person sure does seem familiar, though.

The Hangover Meme

Last thing you remember you were having a couple of drinks, now you're waking up... Where? What the hell happened last night? Why does the small of your back hurt? Why is there a monkey in the room? Why is Kate Perry's "Last Friday Night" playing on the radio? Piece it all together, because you weren't alone for the ride. Anything and everything could have happened last night, but if you look for the clues, you may be able to figure it out. The problem is... Do you want to know?

These rules are very loose, do whatever feels right!
→ Post with your character (Name and canon in the subject bar).
→ People reply to your character with their own (CUES ARE OPTIONAL!!; roll or choose from the offered list if you wish, as many times as you want).
→ If you wish to roll for cues, the original poster can do so as well.
→ Try to figure out why you have "Bait Master" tattooed on your back.

1) STUCK IN QUICKSAND: Somebody help! Throw me a rope! Or a vine!

2) CAR CHASE: We're being followed. Time for a quick 180-degree turn, and step on that gas. Watch for pedestrians.

3) UNDERWATER: The car/boat/plane you were on is sinking. Get out now, or you'll drown.

4) BITTEN: Snakes. And it's poisonous, too. Just your luck.

5) SWORDFIGHT: You must defend your honor, or the honor of the one you love. Time to cross blades!

6) LEAP OF FAITH: Time to jump out of a burning building onto a dumpster, or off a bridge onto a river, or from a moving train or car. Don't fail the landing…

7) INJURED: Your companion is injured. Hope you know how to perform a tracheotomy, treat frostbite or set a leg fracture.

8) BABIES: Not what you thought you'd be doing with your Saturday, but here you are, delivering a baby in the back seat of a taxicab.

9) LOST: Adrift at sea, lost in the desert. How do you survive?

10) RUNAWAY TRAIN: The plane/train/car/boat you're in is about to crash. Can you stop it?

11) WAR/RIOT: You're in a war zone or in the middle of a riot, and you have to get home.

12) WILDCARD: Go pick another scenario from a Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook, and go nuts.

How to play:

02. Tag others and use RNG to get an option, or don’t. Remember, you don’t have to give/get money. Sometimes people do it for drugs, cigarettes, food and other such things.
03. Have fun, and post around! If you’re going to post your character, try to post to at least one other person so the meme is active!
04. Don’t be a dick, and don’t overstep anyone’s boundaries. If they don’t want to do something, then leave them alone.
