[Somehow, an up-and-coming supervillain has successfully kidnapped the Captain America. Steve is now tied up like some flashy escape artist, bound to a chair in a sealed tank that is slowly but steadily filling with water. His bonds won't give, the chair won't break. He's clearly trying to think of something else, but the water is already up to his chin.

Elsewhere, SHIELD's best minds and tech are trying to find Steve, but all his trackable electronic doohickeys were removed at the first opportunity, leaving them to rely on other, slower leads. Oh, and one more thing: the culprit hijacked CNN's airwaves, so the entire nation is now watching as Steve gets closer to dying with every inch the water rises.

Looks like that marriage thing isn't going to last much longer after all.]

Only even Anderson has to admit it's a lot less funny in real life, with the detective gasping, hand pressed over his stomach, blood already staining his fingers. The knife goes skittering away, two officers lunge at him and drag him away, and there are a few astonished seconds in which no one does nothing.

Sure enough, a pair of headlights emerges about five seconds' breadth behind him. Tailing him.]

Damn. [He can venture a few guesses--the 36, probably. Interpol, maybe. One of the clients he'd inadvertently pissed off in the last month. The latter would be particularly ugly, though he isn't pleased about any of the possibilities. He'll have to lose them.

As the GPS gives another annoyed-sounding order, he detaches the screen from its holder on the windshield, tossing it into Adele's lap.]

Shut that off. We're going on a little pleasure trip.
