[War was nothing unusual at all for Pierre's clan. They fought to gain a better land to live in and while they never won they never lost either. Not until now. Declaring war on Ashura's clan had proven to be taking a bigger bite than they could chew. The agreement had been formed between the two rulers that in exchange for the war to end and for the losing side not to have to give away any land they would grant a member from the royal family. Pierre had been picked for that.

He held his head high as he was chained up and escorted to the trading point that had been agreed on. Him against the written deed that they were free from any debt by this exchange. He didn't let his pride falter as guards from what up until now had been his enemies came to take him from his family and the land he called home. He didn't even said farewell to his father or looked back as he was walked to his new king and master.]

Arthur was lingering at the edge of the group of nobles as Ashura was brought in, far from the most elaborately dressed. Yet he was still the one called forward by his king to take hold of the magic 'reigns' holding the immortal from burning them all.

[Yukimura Seiichi was the son of the warlord, a short of prince you could say. His father was brilliant when it came to warfare and country after country fell under his feet. It had been such a small nation, but now the nation had grew into an empire. With a title as prince and the heir to his father's work he had been given the greatest spoil of the most recent war. The one that had been able to stand against his father's armies for the two years the war had been going on.

The news about the gift had been told during dinner and Yukimura had been told that his gift was waiting in his chambers. Like the good son he was Yukimura thanked his father and went to see just what kind of man this slave was. He expected a lot from a man that defied his father the way he had done.]

[Having grown up in a life of slavery, she never thought of the changes that could come with it. Sure she expected to be abused if she did something wrong, or to be given little food as that was the norm - So it came as a surprise to Morgiana when ownership of the girl was given to someone else. All that she could make out was murmurs talking about her tribe and the significance of how strong and valuable she could be under the right person. She had questions, lots of them swarming in her mind but she didn't dare ask them to Jamil's face who looked extremely content at the moment, murmuring about becoming even richer without the need of a useless girl like her.

Not once did the fanalis struggle when she was stripped from her old rags, forced clean until her skin was raw and then donned on with newer clothes with her hair brushed out. It was a welcome change from feeling dirty anyways, and she wasn't complaining. The shackles around her legs tightened and she held back a wince when they also clamped some around her wrist. Safety reasons, they had said. They wouldn't want a slave to run away now, if given the chance. With a violent kick to her side, Morgiana was forced to her knees by her current master who snarled to her to stay with her head bowed down until her new owner came to pick her up.] .. [It goes without saying that Magelord Argyle has a terrible sense of humor. El gets that he wants to see him fail, to be smeared and tarnished to the point that not even the name of Divineson will save him... but really, piling him with unwanted slaves is obviously not going to work. If the first time didn't succeed, only an idiot would try the same thing again and expect different results. How he ever got to be head of the Academy is beyond him.

Regardless, he now has a new problem that is staring him directly in the face. A generous "gift" from the aforementioned idiot. Goddess, this is obscene.]

Shinigami's attendants were frantic with coming up with ways to make the god to Stay. Put. Duo just didn't do well with following orders more often than not, especially after spending years with mortals and toying around with their inventions since his last foray.

The purple-eyed god jiggled his foot and toyed with the edge of his scythe as he waited impatiently for whatever the ogres had in store for him. Hadn't they brought him back for more of that damned paperwork that was a constant part of the duty of his nature? Why had they dragged him out of his office to the way too fancy throne room?

A bored Duo was bad news, and he was getting impatient.

It was even more generous that he was given someone that was granted a long life to match his own. If Elrond would have been human then he would have wasted away so quickly. Ghirahim was very pleased with his gift and would make sure to please his master even more from now on.]

There's a schnick sound of a dog-collar being affixed to Mokou's throat. She gives a tug on it to lean forward, a fiendish look in her eyes. "Do you like my little toy?" she whispered in a low voice. "It's what I had to put up with all of those orders to get. I think you might find it's very... persuasive with unruly pets."

One might even call the experience... shocking if Mokou was thinking of being difficult.

He was something between an object and a person, able to accompany the other for an eternity if that would be wished of him. His very life had been placed in Undertaker's hands to do what he pleased with. Only two people in the whole world could kill him and that was the one who's shadow he was drawn from and his master. The length of his life was tied to his master. If Undertaker died so would he.

Blood red eyes looked at the one he had been given to. The price of letting one man fool death a bit longer. Sure he knew that he was just a tool to his previous master, but getting it rubbed so blatantly in his face was still insulting. Just because he was a shadow didn't mean that he had no feelings of his own.]

[Children without parents or guardians was simply put into slavery. That was just how the system was. Allen had been one of those children that got picked up from the streets and sold. That had been years ago now and he had been working through a few masters by now. The last two had died and therefor he was back at the market again, waiting to be purchased.]
