[Well hopefully he wouldn't be too disappointed by the rather small man collared and chained beside his bed. Arthur was fit, yes, but hardly physically impressive. Or at all pleased to be there, judging by the tight lipped frown he leveled at the prince coming into the chambers, green eyes narrowed.]

[Well Yukimura had possessed a mental imagine of someone big and muscular. That wasn't the case clearly and that only made him realize how powerful this man had to be if free.]

So I am. And you are the one that defied my father for the longest time period.

[His voice was soft and smooth as he talked. It much reminded of a womans voice as well as his face did. But much like the slave his looks spoke nothing of the strength he possessed.]

I did what I had to.

[He knew better than to completely judge by appearance. How many others had he met who appeared slight and helpless only to draw out a blade and strike?

Arthur snorted softly and looked away from the pretty man.]

What are you going to do with me?

Don't we all?

[It was a rhetorical question. It was only natural to fight to protect your home and beliefs. He might still be young and hadn't been out fighting in a battle yet, but he was far from naive.]

For what I am to do with you I'm not sure yet. I didn't expected to be given anything.

[Yukimura took a few more steps into the room so he could get a closer look on the other. The blond hair had him slightly enchanted. It was such a rare sight in the capital.]

Or anyone, I assume.

[Feeling those eyes lingering on him, he glanced up at Yukimura again, raising an eyebrow. Surely he didn't look that odd to the foreign man. Especially after the war.]

[He let out a small chuckle at the note that he got a person and not a thing. Slaver could however break people down to objects in the cruelest of ways. Not that he planed on being cruel or unjust to the other man. Neither would he throw away his fathers kindness and free the slave. That would be like stepping on his good intentions.]

Oh, nothing. I'm just not that used to seeing blond hair. I was never brought to the front of this war.

[Arthur's pride wouldn't allow him to be broken so easily, even if Yukimura had intended to try. As for being set free, he wasn't exactly expecting it either. It would be a political insult to do so.]

It's not that unusual. Many men have blond hair.

From your home it might be true, but here it is almost only the slaves that got it. It is seen as something exotic.

[Walking up to a stuffed armchair that was standing by the fire, Yukimura sank down in it to continue his observation as well as conversation. Being polite never hurt.]

[Oh, that last bit brought a slight blush to his cheeks, as much as Arthur tried to ignore it entirely. He folded his arms over his chest, making sure not to get tangled in the chain.]

If you think that, you're even stranger than those fools across the channel from us.

[Yukimura chuckled softly again. He found that he thought his company to being pleasant. All people he interacted with treated him like he was made out of glass. Something that was far from the truth.]

I am not the one to decide what is and what isn't. Your hair does interest me, yes, but I would not go as far as to brag about owning someone like you to make myself look good.

Good. That's something only an uncivilized clout would brag about. It'd be embarrassing to have been defeated by that sort of people.

[He fidgeted a little, reaching up to tug at the collar. Stupid thing. What was the point of it really, except to make sure he didn't forget his new status. As if he could.]

Some of the nobles does brag about those kind of thing, but that ain't anything I can do about it.

[At least he was modest enough to only visibly showing his fascination in private. He felt no need to brag about a thing that he knew would turn to something natural in his eyes.]

You don't have to sit over there, you know.

[Arthur raised an eyebrow, deliberately curling a few pieces of the chains keeping him beside the bed around his finger.]

I think, you'll find, that I do, unless I'm unchained first. Phasing through solid metal chains is not among my talents, unfortunately.

Ah, my bad. I didn't noticed.

[Standing up from his chair, Yukimura went over to the other and fished up the key to the chains he had been give earlier.]

Your arms please.

[Arthur watched him come closer cautiously, but did indeed offer him his arms where the locks were located. It might have been a chance to escape but for the guards around and quite frankly, good manners.]

Thank you.

[Yukimura unlocked the chains without fearing that the blond would either try to escape or attack him. Both would be pointless with the guards that patrolled the whole castle and that he was fully capable of taking care of himself.]

You are welcome.

[Rubbing his arms where the chains had kept hold on him, he nodded at the other man in further, if silent, thanks. He got up and walked over to a more comfortable chair, making himself as comfortable as if he owned the place.]

So what now?

We haven't formaly introduced ourselfs yet so we can start with that.

[The teen smiled kindly at the other man as he sat down in his chair again.]

You know of my familyname already, but I am Seiichi. Only son of lord Yukimura.

[At least the other man had manners, meaning this whole situation had the chance at being bearable.]

Arthur Kirkland. I don't need any other titles.

Even if you would feel the need I'm afraid that they wouldn't be valid.

[This was a different kind of life from being free. It was a life that was controlled by him now.]

In private you can call me by my name. I don't mind.

[Arthur didn't feel a need to elaborate on that. The permission to use his personal name, however, brought the smallest of smiles to his lips.]

And in public? Assuming I'm ever allowed to leave this room.

That is a totally different subject all in itself. Controlling what a person thinks is hard.

[If Arthur was someone that his people deemed important then his current position would matter little to them.]

I see no good reason why I should keep you in my chambers. Master or more preferably Yukimura-sama. You could switch that over to Seiichi-done during less formal occasions.

I think I'll keep to the last two. I can't see myself calling anyone 'master.'

[The other two titles meant nothing to him, so there was no difficulty in them. But the promise of being allowed to leave was encouraging as he tried to figure out just where his new boundaries would be.]

Will I need to be in your company, or free to wander?

And I would not be fully comfortable with it.

[It was the proper thing to call him, but it left little to the imagination. As much as possible Yukimura wanted Arthur to feel like a personal servant and not a slave. Some thing he couldn't change, but at least he could make this enslavement bearable.]

For now stay at my side. We will see later if I let you walk around on your own.

[It also brought to mind tarty harem girls for Arthur, something he didn't particularly want to picture himself as. And at least there was a chance of being allowed to roam free in the future.]

I suppose I can find that acceptable for now.
