[OOC: Care for a mouthy brat slave? Totally cool with shoving and/or general prattery. David's from a sci-fi canon but I can play him as native to Arthur's world too.]
superiorprat: (Oh god you're a moron!)

[You would think that a boy, after seeing everyone he knows killed, would be grateful that his own life was spared.

In the case of this boy, though, you would be wrong.

Unlike every other inhabitant of this enclave of sorcerors, David did not use magic against the forces of Camelot, instead opting to try to flee when the knights and soldiers came calling. It wasn't a choice he made willingly, mind - had he mastered any spells, he most certainly would have been using them against the invaders. It's just that magic never seemed to come to him like it did to the others.

Perhaps it was his upbringing. While all the other members of the enclave had been raised around magic, David had lived the life of a commoner, living with his parents on a rural farm far from the castles and towns. He's only even been part of this group for a few weeks, and even then, only because their leader had been interested in something he had.

Now David is on his knees, his face caked with mud and sweat, glaring at the knights above him in their chainmail. Why they bound his hands and brought him back instead of killing him outright, he doesn't know. But if they expect him to cower and beg for his life, they've got another thing coming.]
