[ So...considering Fuuka is pretty much awful at all things cooking, Sougo has taken it upon himself to deal with things in the kitchen. He's actually not a terrible chef despite what one might think. He's had to learn how to make things look and smell appetizing so he could add horrible things to them for his coworkers to eat. But not only that -- he spent a good deal of his childhood learning little things from his sister, so this is just one of those things he helped her with when he was young. ]

Oi, Fuuka. Can you come here and taste something for me? I'm trying to decide if it needs a little more spice.

she swears there is more anger than one man - or one monster - should be able to contain within himself every time he takes note of her persistently flat stomach. there's never been the time nor place, and jeyne has never had the nerve to tell him that she doesn't bleed anymore. at least not in the traditionally womanly way; she bleeds when he makes her feed and then takes his fists or teeth or blades to her flesh, but those yield bloody noses, bite marks, and fast healing cuts. she doesn't bleed between her legs anymore.

she doesn't grow any more, either. years must have passed, jeyne thinks, because while reek always looked like an old man, his bones creak like one now. she's aged beyond her features, old and yet continually childish.

though it is not with childish clumsiness that she steals into the castle of a highborn lord and lady and steals the larger of their newborn twin boys. it's kinder that way, she thinks; they still have one left, they've their baby and she has hers. and if he grows angry with the babe and kills it, she has a backup. but he won't kill it, she repeats over and over to herself, steeling her nerves and shushing the hungry bundle in her arms. he will love it, and love me for it.

her delusion, while not completely comforting, urges her to seek him out in their dark home and present him with the baby. ] Look, my love, [ she coos as sweetly as she'd coo'ed to the baby before. ] We've a son.

[They're setting up a warehouse in Istanbul for a job. Arthur is the one who takes care of most of that, getting in the little things they need to operate. Desks, lamps, tea and coffee. He's in the local supermarket at the moment, debating the merits of light and dark roast (he prefers tea, actually, but prefers his coworkers to be not crankily under-caffeinated.

He rings Eames' cell, and launches in without preamble;]

Your spelling and your penmanship are both atrocious. I can't tell if you're asking for teriyaki or- is that tapioca? I think it's a t-word.

It's a big deal being a superhero. It's also a big deal being part of— A team? A group of superheroes? Something bigger than yourself? Whatever. The point is, the Avengers are a big deal, and Tony likes that. She likes having... purpose. She likes having things to do. (Even if, the moment somebody mentions Manhattan and the portal, she's likely to take a swing at them. And has, with at least two reporters on two seperate occasions.)

But she also tends to get knocked around a lot, being in a tin can for most of that time, so 3pm rolls around and she's still sleeping the day away.
