scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

Let's say stage 2 and just wandering~

It didn't snow much in Tokyo typically. A consistent snow was more unusual than a sporadic flurry. Sometimes it would stay for a few days, sometimes it would be gone immediately. But whenever it did fall, it gave him a greater sense of loneliness. Emptiness. Like time had hardly passed. Stands still.

He's taking his time down the street, walking slowly in the direction of home - an empty, sparse apartment in an anonymous corner of the vast city. The snowfall dusts his hair and shoulders, but he doesn't mind, drawing in a breath through his cigarette every now and then as he loses himself in the past.

[ Well, this was... less than good. Sam's hovering by the window, as if keeping his distance from her within their run-down cabin will help him, somehow, in the long run. The snow's really coming down now, and here they are, having just interrogated yet another demon, and... well, they're pretty much stuck.

Sam looks blearily out at the Impala, gathering snow out front. He swallows. Dean's legacy, slowly piling up frost. He turns away, snapping the ratty curtain shut to shut the view out.

But for now, he says nothing. She may be his ally (sort of, and nothing more), but he's still more than wary around her. ]

[Trudging through the snow is nothing simple for N, but probably less so the tropical May, and he can feel his legs freezing. But it was nice! It was white and chilly and clear-aired and very, very nice.

(Nothing like Snowpoint in Sinnoh, N remembers with some grateful fondness. He'd been neck-deep.)

Besides that, there was the thought and observations of May. She was from Hoenn, a primarily tropical area famed for its two volcanoes and sea, and she was very kind. Her Pokémon liked her. She was from Littleroot Town and lived with both of her parents. Her father is a Gym Leader, and she beat him in order to progress towards the Pokémon League where she became the Champion. Her Pokémon enjoy battling, though they're not against the Contests she lets them do either.

Overall, N has a good opinion of her. She reminds him... a little of the other hero, with her go-for-it attitude. Clumsier than them though.]

It only snowed like this in the northern parts of Unova, during the winter. [He misses them.] It doesn't much at all in Hoenn though. Are you fine with the cold?

[Gathering at their captain's house had taken quite some time. Kuroko had planned taking bus to go home, but he just found out that they were ALL canceled. Even emergency ones. The snow had piled up on streets up to the knees, even on driveways.

It was worst case scenario for Kuroko. First coach got them do double training because of Izuki-sempai and captain (they wasted time arguing about relevance of puns in basketball). Then captain invited them all for meeting at his house (to hold speech apparently, because that's all he did).

And now Kuroko's stuck. His house is in whole other part of the town, it's snowing like hell, and there are no buses. The only one who lived in this district was Abe, but he didn't know how he would react if he just showed up on his door without announcing himself. Should he text him? He pulled out his cellphone, and typed a quick message.]

[Rolal is all about the backup generators. So what if the power's out! Time to break out the cubes from the attic and sit on her laptop and watch cheesy trashy romcoms. If she gets bored enough, maybe she'll pop in one of the ones KK said she should watch. (Or more like watch them and then BOW THE FUCK DOWN TO REAL PIECES OF ART INSTEAD OF THIS HOITY TOITY BIG NAME-MARKETING BULLSHIT.)

Anyway, not only are the hot water and stove still working so she can make hot choco later (yum), she just got a text from Tifa! Apparently she parked nearby, but she doesn't wanna drive all the way home with all the streetlights off. So Roxy literally just asked her where she was and said she'd be there in a sec when she answered.

She kind of wanted an excuse to go outside anyway! So whether or not Tifa is still sitting at the bench in the park, like if she decided to walk to Roxy's apartment and meet her halfway, Tifa should see Roxy nearby, all bundled up nice for the snow.]

"Shoulda", "coulda", "woulda" running through his mind, Nickov made his way through the white. However, his body was built to deal with extreme heat and a poisonous atmosphere, not a blizzard. Frozen from the tips of his curled ears to his prehensile tail, it was a miracle he was still alive at all.

If only he'd known how close he was to the warm cabin before he collapsed.
