Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.

How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!
❧ Have fun!

Type

001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.

002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.

003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.

004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.

005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.

006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.

007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?

008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.

009. Wild Card - Anyway you want it. Mix and match, maybe I forgot something you want.

001. Friend - getting a massage from a friend can be a wonderful bonding experience. And exacerbate already existing tensions ;D

002. Lover - Whether a show of care or a prelude to something more intimate, a massage from a lover is a very welcome thing.

Tim had been rubbing his shoulder ever since they got back from the latest Alcatraz round-up. He hadn't dislocated it, but Bart didn't like to think of how many times he knew of it had been. (Seven. Although he suspected at least three more times from how he'd acted coming out for weekends.)

That was how he'd offered to do something to try to help. It wasn't any different from, say, helping with bandages or stitches. "Jeez, I think I've worked with softer rocks. Don't you ever relax anymore?"

[Though she'd heard enough warnings and knew enough about him not to trust him, Hermione couldn't help but notice that Loki has been looking more and more weary as time goes on. Given his penchant for mischief, she doubted very much that his unpredictable surroundings were taking any sort of toll on him. Perhaps it has to do with his strained relationship with Sif, or perhaps there's simply more to him than she's wholly aware. Whatever the case, it's gotten to the point where she's offered to help him relax, and as he'd agreed to it, she's hardly going to go back on her word.

Trying not to feel awkward about the situation, she gives him a small smile as she puts her hair up, not wanting it to get in the way. Despite the fact that she'd never really done this for anyone besides Harry and Ron - and even then, only briefly - she keeps her voice low and calm, wanting him to relax.]

[ the medic is a hands-on kind of doctor where he usually fiddles with patients under the knife in an dove-filled operation room, but that doesn't happen today because the gloves are off and the patient's lying down on his chest; massage therapy.

less fun, he doesn't get to watch the reactions of the nervous system ( no, it's the nervous reaction, but what's the difference? ) from the inside. this works, just for now, because he decided to take it as a challenge, an experiment — see how effective it is, how long it'll last, how long it'll take, and how much he remembers the techniques. the doctor remembers pressure points, he uses it to his advantage in the field, like pressing down the upper part of his back palm against the patient's lower back, making small circles that would be sliding from that point up to lower part of the shoulder blade.
