Massage Meme
Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.
How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!
❧ Have fun!
Type
001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.
002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.
003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.
004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.
005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.
006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.
007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?
008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.
009. Wild Card - Anyway you want it. Mix and match, maybe I forgot something you want.
Relationship
001. Friend - getting a massage from a friend can be a wonderful bonding experience. And exacerbate already existing tensions ;D
002. Lover - Whether a show of care or a prelude to something more intimate, a massage from a lover is a very welcome thing.
003. Service - Hey some of us aren't so lucky. We gotta pay for this service.
004. Wild card - Whatever you want. However you want.

At the lazy grin, he arches a slanted eyebrow.] It is well. [He's not going to admit he's still sore. That would be a concession of weakness.]

[Blunt either works very well or terribly with Spock, and he hasn't quite figured out when is which yet. Still, he'd rather not beat around the bush and well... maybe he's actually concerned.]

He's going to try to distract his Captain, moving to the replicator and putting in the code for tea.] Would you like something to drink? [So it's not the most subtle tactic.]
Did you read the book that went with the first ST movie by chance?
Sure, but that doesn't mean you're getting off that easy. [Nope, not working Spock.] My guess is... not taking the painkillers Bones told you to, am I right?
I read roughly half of it. xD
I do not require the painkillers. Vulcans are capable of managing pain the same way we manage the rest of our bodies.

Look, [He sits down, picking up the tea and sniffing once before raising a brow. Tea, huh? Smelled sort of spicy, so he guesses something Vulcan in nature.] I want to help, that's all.
no subject
It is sash-savas tea. [An off-handed comment, having noted the sniff. Spock is silent for several moments, considering.]
How would you help?
no subject
I've learned a lot over the years, specially all the years I didn't have a doc around to help me every time I got my ass kicked. Get a towel and get the water as hot as you can stand it and lay it over your shoulder, then a massage when the muscles have loosened up and you'll start to lose that stiff as a broken board look and back into normal stiff as a proper board look you usually have.
no subject
[More silence. He shifts his gaze away from Jim, thinking over his words. He lets the entire 'board' part slide, though he does briefly wonder if his Captain realizes his analogies are often quite... colorful.
Finally, after taking a sip of his own tea, he nods, more to himself than Jim.] I would be amenable to that.
no subject
See? There we go. Shirt off, Commander. [With a grin he gets up, padding over to the bathroom and peering around without hesitation for a towel, getting it wet and hot. Right, Vulcans have a higher internal temperature, compensate by nearly burning himself in the process.]

Alright, get yourself comfortable. Maybe about... fifteen, twenty minutes and it'll loosen up.
[He ends up laying the towel across Spock's once-injured shoulder, draping it just carefully with surprisingly gentle hands. Then he covers it with one of the dry towels to keep the heat in, then a second one.]
no subject
The wet towel is heated perfectly, though that thought makes him pause, gaze flicking to Jim's hands. They're redder than normal.] You burnt yourself.

You play? [A little gesture towards the 3D Chess set.]
