Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.

Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.
4. Profit

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.

2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.

3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.

4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.

5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.

6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?

7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?

8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!

9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!

10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

Carefully Lindsey untangled himself from Dean's limbs and kissed the other vampire lightly on the forehead. "You go on and sleep," he murmured, "I'm going to make sure that soul won't bother you."

Smiling at the image that Dean represented sprawled on the bed, the lawyer slipped away with that memory in mind.

(( Okies! They still have trouble coming their way anyway. W&H won't be happy with them, so Lindsey might need to go on the run. ))

Dean growled softly, reaching out to grab the pillow left behind and pulled that to him instead, quickly drifting off to sleep.

He woke up a few hours later when it was just starting to get dark outside. He frowned seeing Lindsey was gone, not remembering him leaving before. He got up and finally put clothes on for the first time since Lindsey had ripped them off. His skin felt so damn sensitive so he went with a soft black shirt and pajama pants before wandering into the living room. "Linds? You still here?"

Dean would find that the apartment was cleaned, no signs of the two dead bodies from yesterday remained. No sign of anyone for that matter, although there was a note pinned to the coffee table telling Dean that Lindsey had gone to do research and he would hopefully be back soon. If he was hungry, there was fresh blood in the fridge and, for now, please be tolerant and don't go anywhere.

It wasn't until an hour later and it was fully dark outside that Lindsey rushed in, a bag in one hand and several papers in the other.

"Dean? Dean, are you around?" he asked as soon as he got in with the door barely shut behind him. "I think I have it. Come on, we have to hurry."

Dean was less than thrilled when Lindsey got home, pacing around the apartment with built up energy from being stuck inside all day. Not to mention his stomache ach from that shitty refrigerated blood. Lindsey got a glare when he walked in the door and though he obediently made his way to his Sire, the older vampire's excitement wasn't contagious. "What is it? What do I have to do?"

"A tattoo," Lindsey answered, pulling his childe to him and settling them both on the couch. "The ink needs to be specially made to stay in our skin, and I have the ingredients and design here..." He showed the Dean the sheet of paper that he held up until now. "As soon as we're done, we're going to have to leave. Things were already heated when I went to get these."

Dean let himself be dragged to the couch but shifted a little from Lindsey. "A tatto for eternity...awesome. Hope I can put it somewhere hidden.". He sighed, trying to pay attention to what was going on. "So how fucked are we?"

Lindsey paused long enough to grimace at the question. "They want to shove a soul back into you and possibly make you the next Angel... as for me..." Lindsey's expression didn't show good news. "Let's just get this tattoo on you. It doesn't have to be large, but needs to be somewhere that can't be removed. Where do you want it?"

"What, they want me sanctimonious and using too much hair product.". He sighed, trying to figure out what he could do. "My shoulder blade? I guess? Would that work? And how are we getting rid of your soul?"

"No, they want a vampire with a soul on their side." He motioned for Dean to turn around and take the black shirt off. "That was the whole deal with Angel, they wouldn't let me kill him because a vampire with a soul is an important part of the apocalypse."

Mixing the ingredients together, Lindsey murmured a latin incantation that had the mixture turning black on its own. "I haven't really had time to figure that part out yet. I came back as soon as I found the stuff for this."

"Don't they kind of already have a vampire with a soul on their side? Or....well they did.". Until Lindsey chose him over his company, which granted was the better choice.

Dean took off his shirt and settled down on the couch, back towards Lindsey. "You're sure about this whole tattoo thing, right? Like....very sure? No possible side effects? I'm not gonna grow a third eye or drop dead or something?"

"Mostly," Lindsey answered, hiding his grimace behind Dean's back. "It is a good source and all we have. I would rather risk this than..." Than Dean getting his soul back and killing them both. "Yes, I'm sure."

"And, apparently, I'm not in their prophecies, so even turning me into a souled vampire didn't help them out. No... they wanted me souled was because they could bind me to their bidding. After what happened with you, rumour has it I'm just walking dust."

He ran a hand over the back of Dean's shoulder. "Here?"

Dean growled at the idea of anyone doing that to his Sire. "That's not going to happen, understand? This is gonna work and we'll get the hell out of here. Even if this doesn't work...if they want me on their side they better keep you alive.". He calmed down a little at the touch and nodded. "How do we know if it works?"

"How do you know if something can repel something else until it happens?"

Lindsey picked up the needle and rested the point on Dean's shoulder. "I'm going to start," he warned as he pricked the pale skin beneath with the hollow needle. Not the best artist, but Lindsey could draw sigils.

"Dean, regardless of what happens though, I won't let anything happen to you. I owe you that much."

Dean cringed a little in pain but tried to act like it wasn't bothering him. "Just consintrate...don't screw that thing up. And after this I'm getting dinner because that refrigerated shit made me sick."

"You're going to have to hold on a bit longer for dinner," Lindsey said. Despite what Dean wanted, Lindsey kept up the conversation to help the younger vampire take his mind off what was happening on his back. "We're going to be packing up and leaving. And first thing is to make sure they can't trace us through your car."

"I already found most of the bugs and tracking devices, I got rid of those weeks ago.". He grit his teeth and started to feel dizzy. "If this thing kills me I'm gonna be pissed."

Lindsey was surprised to learn that. "Then what have they been tracing if it wasn't your car?"

He paused to offer Dean his arm. "Take a bite, it'll taste better than the cold stuff you drank earlier." After having fed off the hunter for so long, it seemed like it would be only fair to give him a taste of his in return, outside of the time when he force fed Dean and turned him.

"Yours....possibly.....it was when I really hated you and knew you didn't go out much so they'd probably never notice and did I mention I'm sorry?" He tried to look over his shoulder to figure out how pissed his Sire was.

Lindsey stared at the hunter before him as his hand stopped before it shook. He couldn't tell if he should laugh or be pissed off, and in the end just groaned.

"You mean to tell me when we dusted Kate and I used my car because I thought they wouldn't be tracking it, they knew exactly what we were doing?" Alright, maybe he could see dark humor in that, so he let a few chuckles slip then continued putting that design on Dean's shoulder. He shook his head in disbelief. "In other words, I've been screwed over from the start. Dean, if I didn't have a soul right now, I might really hurt you for that."

"I was...I was really upset at the time, I mean you did just sort of put me in a situation where I thought I was gonna die. And we're both screwed...think of it that way." He flinched as the pain got to him again. "But you do have a soul so I don't have to worry about you setting me on fire till we get rid of the thing...so that's good to know." He resisted the urge to take the offer to bite Lindsey, doubting he should after admitting to the whole car thing.

But even as Lindsey resumed working with his other hand, he didn't bring the one extended before Dean back. Apparently, his soul was there enough and he cared enough for his childe that he wasn't going to rescind his offer.

"So you planned on keeping this from me until they come to set me on fire? And it takes you losing your soul to tell me?" As he continued to think on it, he wasn't getting angry. No, that would be his reaction if he had been soulless, but he was feeling hurt.

He stopped again, putting the needle down. After what he had tried to do for Dean, realizing how much of a betrayal it was hurt like a stake to the chest. "You hated me that much?"

"No...I...I mean yeah, I did kind of hate you but that's not why I did it!" Why the hell did he do it? He sighed and turned to face Lindsey. "I thought I was screwed, but I didn't really think Wolfram and Hart would off their golden boy just because he screwed with one low level vampire. I put it on your car at the beginning of the night because if shit went bad I was gonna take off..."

But he was a moron, because why the hell wouldn't they just stake the guy if he lost a possession like Dean? "I didn't think they'd kill you...I didn't think that far ahead I just didn't wanna be watched anymore, I thought I was just screwing with them..and you."

Lindsey looked up at Dean. "I wasn't going to let anything happen to you." He tried to smile but it fell far off the mark. "I guess you didn't have much reason to trust me to begin with."

Finally taking his unbitten arm back, he placed it on Dean's shoulder to turn him back around so he could finish the tattoo. That was why he had to complete this... if Dean got his soul back, he wouldn't even hesitate to toss Lindsey to the wolves.

It was ironic, that the souled one would be the one so willing to kill him when the soulless one... Lindsey didn't dare to call it caring, but it was more than what he got from Dean before. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

"I knew you were gonna try, I didn't know if you were gonna succeed...and if you remember that night I did sort of save your ass. Almost took off too," he sighed and finally turned back around again. "But I didn't...that's gotta count for something, right? I didn't want you dead, you liked me even if I thought it was to an incredibly creepy degree, who knew what the next guy in charge of me would have been like."

"Yeah, I remember. My hero," Lindsey muttered, but before Dean turned around, he might have caught Lindsey's lips twitching upwards towards something more positive again.

For the next while Lindsey was silent as he concentrated on finishing the design. Even then, it took nearly half an hour more before he was finally done with it.

"There, it's done." He ran his fingers across the nearly healed tattoo, vampire healing was an amazing thing. "How does it feel?"
