The Intimacy Meme

Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.

Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.
4. Profit

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.

2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.

3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.

4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.

5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.

6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?

7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?

8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!

9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!

10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

"We are not going to perform on the street like hobos or college kids. We'll hustle pool and kill people like adults.". Dean circled around to the drivers seat and got in, starting the car. "You could always play for me though."

Lindsey gave Dean an unimpressed look although his eyes did widen slightly when Dean suggested being interested in his music. "I meant play in bars. Some places pay decently for live music in their place. That was how I earned money sometimes when I was in school."

"Well coming from somebody who never went to college...or had a real job, I never had to play an instrument to get money. But hey whatever, if that's what you wanna do go for it.". He turned on the radio, feeling some form of relief when Black Sabbath started blaring as he pulled out of his spot and headed out of the parking garage, half expecting to get jumped or something.

It has been a long time since Lindsey had to play for money too, but he merely answered, "You hustle pool, I can play my guitar." If he was guardedly optimistic, he could see it almost working. It wouldn't be a bad life to live on the road like that, drifters, going from town to town.

"Do you want to go back to being a hunter?"

Dean looked at his Sire like he was insane. "I'm a vampire Linds....you can't really be a vampire and a hunter....I just wanna be free and go do whatever the hell I want for once. No obligations to my Dad, no need to save people."

Lindsey didn't point out that Angel was one, probably for the same reason that he thought his mind was betraying him for even thinking it out. Of course, Angel had a soul, which was why Lindsey would even think of such a thing to begin with, because he had one too.

Ah hell.

"Alright, first things first, get me to a payphone. I should still be able to use my Wolfram and Hart pull to get a shaman to tamper with your windows."

"A shaman can make my car vamp friendly? I thought we were just gonna replace my windows. But...alright, shaman it is. How far away do you want this payphone? We got time before sunrise."

"The necro-tampered glass isn't that different from normal glass, only that it's been tempered by a shaman or necromancer," Lindsey explained as Dean drove. " I was going to take you to someone I know who has some, but getting your windows refitted might take longer than just getting these current ones enchanted."

As Dean got clean away from Wolfram and Hart's main building, Lindsey released a sigh of relief. "Take us towards Beverly Hills. I can make the call en route."

"They're not....I mean they won't look different, right? Cause I don't want you fucking with my baby," he pet the steering wheel affectionately. "And how exactly do we know these guys won't just go and tell Wolfram and Hart where we are? If it's an enchantment can't we just do it ourselves? I have connections to hard to find ingredients."

"Might tint it a bit," Lindsey answered honestly. The ones back in the firm were slightly tinted but he didn't know if that was an actual tint job or a result of the enchantment.

"And not all are directly connected to the main office. We merely contract some of our sorcerers, which may mean some won't know my situation with Wolfram and Hart. This will be better because I don't know the enchantment required."

"Alright....if you say this is the thing to do...." he shrugged and sped up. "And how are we getting rid of your soul? Shouldn't that come before glass tinting?"

To be honest, Lindsey wasn't sure he wanted to part with his soul. Without it, his relationship with Dean will change and he may possibly enjoy hurting his childe. He didn't want that.

Even if this soul might be the death of him.

"Do you mind that it's here?"

"It makes things harder for you," he shrugged, not really sure how good it would be. "Who knows if we can get blood bags where we go, you killing would make things easier."

"Dean," Lindsey asked with an underlying tone of amusement, "Did you think that was all I drank before you came around? I've been souled for all this time and I can assure you that I didn't drink those disgusting things more than necessary." Then again, without Wolfram and Hart, he lost his live blood bank as well.

"So you're telling me that you're totally ok with hunting and killing people?" He frowned, watching the other vamp out of the corner of his eye. "I don't know what I like, technically soulless you is the one who turned me but you're a lot more...cooperative."

Dean got his answer when Lindsey's eyes dropped down from the road to his hands. No, he wasn't okay with randomly massacring people by a long shot. He didn't mind hurting them, it came with the territory and he had been doing it even as a human, just killing them on a personal level wasn't something he could stomach doing with a soul.

"I can hunt fine, Dean. And souled or not, I'm still Lindsey McDonald." Maybe. "I can do everything soulless can even with a soul." Yet instead of that being a statement, it sounded like he was trying to convince Dean... or himself.

"Ok....I....ok, I just sort of thought that that was part of the plan...right?". He kept one eye on Lindsey as he drove. "So what's with the sudden change?"

"Just getting my thoughts sorted," Lindsey admitted, although when he noticed Dean was partially watching him, he frowned. "Watch the road, Dean."

When he saw Dean was listening, the older vampire sighed and figured, if he was already making himself a fugitive with Dean, he might as well trust the younger vampire with some truths. If he was lucky, it might even help him sort out the mess in his mind.

"I thought it would be so simple to be soulless... and it was. Except I hurt you so much during that short lapse that if you weren't also soulless right now, you'll be staking me where I sit. I'm afraid of that happening again. That isn't what I want for us."

Dean's eyes instantly shifted to the road nd he huffed in annoyance. "I'm always doing what you say now...why do I keep doing what you say?"

He looked a little uncomfortable when the whole him staking Lindsey thing was mentioned, mostly because he knew that that was exactly what would happen. "Well....souled me is stupid, and isn't coming back if this tattoo works. And you didn't hurt me once I turned...though I did only get to see you for a little while before you...changed."

"That's because you're still new and I'm your sire," Lindsey said with a twitch of his lips. "Give it a bit and I expect you'll be fighting everything I say."

Dean's complaint was a brief reprieve, but once answered, Lindsey was left back to his previous issue. "And the tattoo will work." That much Lindsey had confidence in. "But you're wrong. I would have hurt you. I would have taken every advantage of you while you can't fight back." Again his lips twitched, humorlessly this time. "I still want to."

Dean frowned, not sure if he totally believed that was possible. "Well how long does it last?". His interest perked up a little at the last comment. "What would he do?"

"It's different for all vampires, I think. I'm not really sure since this wasn't exactly written in a book. Some a few days, some a few years." Lindsey shrugged helplessly. "For all I know, you could be fighting me by tomorrow."

Although that twitch of his lips turned upwards towards a smirk. "For one, I don't think he'd let you wear any clothes. I can see the appeal of that too... but maybe not when we're on the road."

"Come on, you can't have that much power over me.". Unless dean just didn't notice...that was a weird thought. "And yeah....naked driving not the best way to stay hidden."

"Even if it didn't, I don't think it would have mattered." Lindsey's subconscious viciousness scared even himself. He never thought that he could have gone the lengths that he did... possibly with his rivalry against Angel causing him to want to outdo even Angelus.

He reached out as if wanting to brush Dean's neck, but reminded that the man was driving stopped his hand from finding its target. He let it fall onto the back of Dean's seat instead.

"Dean, are you still hungry?" he asked when they drove past some late night diners.

Dean didn't notice the hand reaching for him, eyes locked on the road. "Yes...coarse I'm hungry. I'm always hungry. Why? I'm not drinking from another bag, it's gross and weirdly tangy."
