I s'pose there are a few dashed hopes this evening. I just happen t'have someone takin' up all my interest.

For a moment Ororo arched her brow, hoping that she hadn't crossed a line. It was a question that was very rarely asked, after all.

She and Remy often ran on instinct, talents honed to second nature. In truth they were no strangers to such intimacy and the trust Ororo had in her Cajun had weathered worse than the occasional dalliance.

At his agreement, she stopped and pulled him in for a kiss that ended this side of chaste.

"We should hurry then."

Flattery has always been effective and it helps that Remy has always been good at it. It leaves her chuckling a little as he sits back, watching him with hungry eyes. If they aren't careful there will be a wildfire of gossip in the days to come, but all Ororo can think of is how good his stubble feels against her softer skin.

"Then I suppose we should move quickly."

With that she pulls her dress back into place, exiting the car with the fluid grace most have come to expect of her. They shouldn't be fraternizing like this, but vices often often snowball. Her own impishness is starting to show - the walk to her attic bedroom lengthened by an impromptu conversation with some of the older girls.

Remy plays the gentleman as they pass others in the hall. No one really buys the act--they know him too well by now--but it's normal behaviour for him. The hunger in his eyes returns as soon as they are safely behind the door in her room though. The sunglasses to hide his eyes are long forgotten and watch her intently.

He tosses his jacket over the arm of a chair and hooks a finger in his tie, loosening it. He's smouldering but holding it all in check. Matching her.
