THE RANDOM SCENARIO MEME 3.0

- Post your character, name, and series in the subject. Include any preferences as well.
- Go to RNG and enter 1-6 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out.

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.

⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!

[ She notices the way he's keeping pace with her and she appreciates it, really, because she's not entirely used to walking in a yukata; it's quite different from walking in a hanbok but much like any challenge posed to D.Va, Hana is going to own it before long. She makes sure the little bag that Shiro's mother handed her is resting securely in the crook of her arm and she still hasn't stopped smiling. Because--

It's been a long time since anyone-- much less three people-- have really thought of and planned something for her birthday. Hana had been far too new and far too guarded from the same people she now considers her family from Overwatch last year and as fun as going out to party with friends to celebrate it had been for the past few years of her life, she doesn't mind this kind of celebrating, either. It certainly feels more special. ]

I'll be waiting for it! [ so he'd better not let him down. Not that she thinks he would. ] Kinda sucks that I'll be on a mission but what can you do?

Let's make the most of tonight!

[Shiro's grown up walking next to his grandmother and even when she's not in anything but a house dress she still takes the small, delicate steps that all those years in a kimono taught her. The yukata isn't quite as restrictive as a full kimono but he's still aware that it requires some difference in walking and he doesn't mind at all if it slows their stroll down a little. It give him just another reason to have his arm around Hana and his head bent a little to listen to her as she talks.

His grandmother is going to have so many polite visits from the neighbors tomorrow.

Especially when he dips his head for another quick kiss. It's almost impossible to resist when she's so happy and glowing and her hair is piled up away from her throat.]

You can count on it. [Even if he has to call her from the middle of battle. Though he's hoping not. He doesn't answer her question though. What can they do? This is who they are. All they can do is seize the moments like this one and do exactly what she says. Make the most of them.] Have you eaten yet? They'll have all kinds of food.

[ They're already stealing glances from other people making their way over to the festival-- and they definitely have the passersby at full attention when Shiro kisses her. But Hana doesn't mind. She's never cared much for what people say about her and rumors about who she's seeing are in that same vein-- she knows people have been talking about her and Shiro ever since the gala and, at this point, there's really no use in hiding it. If anyone with authority over her turns out to have a problem with the kind of attention this gets her, she'll fight that battle.

Because like hell are rumors and scandals going to stop her from having this night with Shiro.

She hums a quiet laugh. ]

Not yet! I can't wait to chow down. [ Then teasingly, ] Though that probably means you have to stop kissing me every five steps we take.

[Shiro was always raised to be much more circumspect with shows of affection. While his mother and father were more open about it than his grandparents and his youngest years had been full of hugs and snuggles and lap sitting while the adults did their work, by the time he'd been in primary school those had all but stopped. He was considered too old by that point and he'd understood and accepted that. Public displays of affection were nothing more scandalous than the fact his parents still held hands when they went somewhere together. So the way he was acting now, with Hana, in his own neighborhood no less, he knew would trickle through every single house and apartment and shop in a pretty wide radius.

He didn't mind at all.

So he gave her a little squeeze at her teasing with his arm, gentle, but kept it around her and grinned down at her.]

That's a lot to ask of me, Hana Song. Especially when we both know how much better I look when I'm wearing your lip gloss.

[ He gets a quirked brow for that, and the way her lips curl in a smirk only says one thing and it's challenge accepted. ]

Oh, yeah? Actually, you could use a bit more.

[ Has it even been five steps since she'd brought that up? Doesn't matter. She's bringing herself up to press another kiss to his lips again. By this point he might as well be wearing all of the gloss. ]

There you go!

[He sees the gleam in her eyes and doesn't mind it one bit. Especially when she pushes her up into him and kisses him. He wraps both arms around her and pulls her up and into him, returning the kiss whole-heartedly.

He's leaving by morning. She's going back into battle.

Damn right he's going to steal every tick, and every kiss, that he can now.]

Better.

[He runs his tongue over his lips after she's pulled back, tastes the cherry and the underlying taste of her. And realizes - it's... going to be very hard behaving himself tonight. So he smiles crooked down at her and settles her back on her feet, letting go so only one arm is around her.]

Now I think I'm ready for a viewing. [He gets them walking again. Because he needs to. Or they're never going to make it three blocks when he knows so many empty doorways with perfect shadows.] I'm willing to bet almost anything that my mom has a fresh jar of your lip gloss in that bag she gave you.

[ Oh, but when he pulls her in close like that, nothing much more than the fabric of their yukatas between the two of them--

Hana isn't so sure she's going to behave herself.

Especially because he's leaving by morning and she's going back into battle.

At his prompting, she moves her hands to dig into the bag, and-- lo and behold, she produces new lip gloss. The same kind that Hana usually wears out, even. The Shiroganes definitely don't do anything half-assed, she's realized. And just to confirm it all, she opens it, pulling the wand out of the jar and applying the product to her lips carefully even as they're walking. ]

Wow, she nailed it. I've been needing a new one, too! I gotta thank her when we get back.

[ But that's later, much later, she hopes. Now it looks like they might finally get to the festival rather than make another stop. ]

So, what's the plan, Mr. Black Paladin? Grab as much food as we can and then sit somewhere to see the flowers? While eating lots of yummy food?

[ Note the emphasis on food. This is definitely a Hana Song plan. ]

[His family shows their love by paying attention and he expected nothing less than exactly what Hana usually wore if his mother was involved. When he don't say 'I love you' much, you make it a point to show it. That lip gloss is a message without words. Shiro's pretty sure, whether she realizes it with the front of her thoughts or not, Hana's realizing it with her heart.

She also somehow manages to make applying lip gloss look incredibly sensual.

So it's a good thing they're still walking and she's shifting the conversation to food. Because that makes it easy to grin down at her and chuckle.

Yes. He's noticed there is a definite pattern in Hana's plan.]

Lots of yummy food. Somewhere nice to sit so we can watch the blossoms and the lanterns come up. Sounds good to me. Have you ever been to a blossom viewing before?

[ She smiles contentedly at the confirmation that, yes, there will be lots of yummy food, and she carefully deposits the jar of lip gloss back into the bag before she reaches up with an arm to slip around his-- well, hips, really, given the difference in their heights-- reciprocating his gesture.

His question garners a fond, nostalgic look on her face. ]

Not to one in Japan. But there's a huge, huge cherry blossom festival at home called the Jinhae Gunhangje. I didn't really go as a kid but-- it's a big military festival, too, so I've had to go the last couple of years to make an appearance. [ She chuckles. ] I gotta go this year too.

It's super pretty. The cherry blossoms there go along this railroad track on both sides, but there's this other part along a little stream and you stand on the sides on bridges, and a lot of the time they hang things across the stream! Like one year they did umbrellas.

[ A beat, then, ] Maybe next year we can go together.

[ Because there will be a next year for them, and she's sure of it. ]

[He's glad of the distraction. Because it helps him get his mind back on the right track -

and because he enjoys hearing about Hana's life, all the parts of it, even the little things. He likes watching this memory on her face and his arm gives her a gentle squeeze before he dips his head to -

well, he almost presses a kiss to the top of her head. And then remembers that he's got lip gloss on and reaches up with his free hand to wipe it away before dipping his head to drop the original kiss into her hair.]

You'll have to give me more later. [He murmurs against her, to apologize for wiping off her lip gloss.] Next year sounds good. Make sure you find out the date so I can put it on my calendar.

[Ahead the park comes into view and he pauses them, rests his jaw against the side of her hair, careful not to mess it up. His voice goes low and rumbling.]

Stop a tick. Just - look. Before we even get there, before the noise comes. Nothing but long dark buildings with their dark slanted roofs and nothing but cherry blossoms and lanterns at the end. I haven't seen this since I was a child.

[ Lips curl into a smirk at his words, and on the tip of her tongue there's a rebellious suggestion about leaving gloss elsewhere than his lips but--

Then they stop walking, and the words are forgotten when she looks ahead and sees the pale pink blossoms gracing the branches of the trees all over, delicately swaying in the light breeze of the early evening. Her eyes are bright and filled with the sight.

But she'll laugh at Shiro's spontaneous poetry. If she had to hazard a guess, she'd say it must be something his grandfather wrote. Still-- ]

Cheese master Shiro! What's that supposed to mean?

[Her teasing has him chuckling and he hums a content sound against her.]

Any good poem lets you decide it means whatever you think it means. Most people think Issa was saying that lingering too long on something beautiful or leisurely can mean that the things you should have seen coming and prepared for can catch you off guard. [Shiro shrugged and smiled.] But I happen to like rainstorms so...

Maybe you'll like this one better.

[ Hana's expression turns into one not unlike someone who just had an "Aha!" moment, and she snaps her fingers. ]

Ah, so it wasn't your grandfather's!

[ She's not the most literary-inclined person out there. She's picked up the book of Altean poetry that Shiro (and Allura) gave her to some avail as to whether she really understands what's going on, but she at least appreciates it on some, which is why she still giggles at the second poem. ]

Are you gonna be the bald man in that one, Shiro?

[He rumbles amusement but - it warms him too, to realize that Hana's aware of how highly his family, and him, value his grandfather's poems.]

Issa was a bit before my grandfather's time. I'll make it up to you and tell you some of my grandfather's poems once we're under the trees and have our food. That's a family tradition too. [Then he leans down and nuzzles the tip of her nose with his own, grinning, teasing right back.]

I already hardly have any hair, Hana. Will you still date me if I lose the rest of it and can only wear flowers?

[ She pretends to have to think about the answer to that one for a few seconds, humming thoughtfully--

but then she answers by bringing a hand up to cup his cheek and pull him into another kiss on the lips. ]

Yeah, I think I could work with that. I'll make you a flower crown!

[He leans down happily to get his kiss, other arm slipping around her so he can pull her close in against him again.

He really is going to need to get them to the park quickly or they're never going to get there at all.]

I would rock a flower crown. [He can't help stealing another quick kiss but then he moves, lets of of her with his other arm and starts them walking again.] Black might want one too though. We'd need a lot of flowers.

[ She smiles triumphantly against their kiss, and it keeps on even after they've pulled away. But-- she obliges when he gets them moving again because she, too, gets the distinct feeling that if they don't move now they're never going to make it to the park.

(Although she isn't sure that grandmother would consider that a bad thing.)

She lets out another laugh at the mental image of Shiro and Black with matching flower crowns, and nods. ]

What if the Lions could shrink into a regular cat size when you guys don't have to pilot them? Wouldn't that be so cute? Then we could definitely make Black a flower crown.

[The mental image of Black cat sized had him chuckling. It would certainly make it easier to get the lion in and out of places. Like a park full of cherry blossoms. His rational mind told him that shrinking Black's size would increase the mass most likely though and - wow. That would be a very heavy cat.

Which didn't mean the lion would look any less cute in miniature with a flower crown.]

I think if Black could shrink down I wouldn't get to go anywhere without him. Not that that's a complaint. [His arm slipped away from her but his hand slipped down to find hers as they got closer to the park and the cheerful noise of people enjoying themselves started to spill out. He raised her held hand to his lips and brushed a kiss over her knuckles and explained the change.]

You might need a little bit of room if you're planning on hitting every single one of the stands.

Nah, if he'd act anything like a real kitty he might accidentally get in the way of your alone time, hm?

[ If that sounds vaguely suggestive that's because it is and ever since Hana's become sure of both her own feelings and Shiro's, the hesitance to flirt has pretty much disappeared.

The smile on her face gets wider as they get closer to the festival, though, and her fingers curl easily around Shiro's. More than the sounds of laughter and people having fun-- she can smell all of the food from the stands. There's already a determined glint in her eyes even when Shiro's kissing her hand and she raises her free hand up, pumping her fist in the air. ]

Aw, yeah! I'm ready for Round One, let's go!

[ And here comes an attempt at breaking into a run while tugging Shiro along. While wearing a yukata. Which probably won't end well. ]

[His eyebrows go up at her summary and - yes. Yes, that paints a very clear picture.

He's... just not really sure there's a safe way to respond to that at this point in their relationship.

Luckily there's a food distraction but - yes. Yes, running in a yukata doesn't usually end well. Which he's pretty sure she's forgotten she's wearing. So the second she bolts and he realizes what's going on, he takes two long strides and wraps an arm around her waist. Which is either going to keep her from tangling up and tipping over if she was in the process or keep it from happening in the first place. And his laughter spills out as he does so.]

Hang on. The food's not going anywhere. Grandmother will get the entire wrong idea if you return the dress to her with stains on the knees.

[ Whether she was in the process of tumbling over or Shiro's gesture prevents it, Hana lets out a little yelp, followed by what sounds like the Korean equivalent of "oops" when his arm wraps protectively around her. And she blinks for a few seconds as what Shiro says registers in her mind. ]

Ah! My bad!

[ But she laughs, shaking her head. ]

Thanks for the save, Shiro. We wouldn't want your grandma to get the wrong idea, huh?

[ Straightening herself out, she starts once more. Walking, this time, and reaching for Shiro's hand again. ]

[He sets her back on her feet and gives her his hand, more than willing to walk with her, still chuckling a little in the back of his throat.

He is never going to complain about the way she embraces her enjoyment whole-heartedly. It's one of the many things he loves about her.]

That's right. [He agrees.] She's never stop grinning if we did.

[And then they're in the park entrance and there are tables and stands and booths set up and dozens of different food scents in the air and - Shiro pretty much simply let's Hana take the lead and follows next to her. No one's going to charge them for whatever she wants. She can pretty much take as much as the two of them can carry.]

[ And take, she will, although it might be more accurate to say receive, she will; between her recognizable face and it being Shiro's hometown, where many of the food vendors are longtime friends of grandmother's or simply know of the Shiroganes, the two of them walk away with lots of free food having been shoved in their general direction by the excited locals. By the time they've got armfuls each, they've got takoyaki, a few kinds of yakitori, yakisoba, and dango to start with.

And Hana looks utterly pleased with the haul. She looks up at Shiro, eyes gleaming in excitement, the smile on her face absolutely irrepressible . ]

Want to grab a table? Or sit under a tree?

[ Either way they need to find a spot, like, yesterday, so she can sit and chow down. ]

[That happy excitement and joy on her face is absolutely irrepressible and he trails along next to her utterly caught in the bubble of her happiness. He's long since had to let go of her hand, just so that she can touch everything - and he can carry the growing load of food and -

and he can't seem to stop smiling like a love struck fool.

Which he is.

When she finally finishes her first round and looks up at him, all effervescent joy, he doesn't resist, leaning down to steal a quick kiss despite the crowds and the familiar faces.]

I know a spot.

[It's a little out of the way, a little apart from the main section of the fair but its still on the bank of the small river with a good view of cherry trees and hanging lanterns. There's already a blanket spread out and - of course there is. It's his family's usual spot even if they haven't been back here in years and he's not surprised at all to recognize the blanket as one of his mother's. He sits down on it and puts his back to the tree, finding the familiar spot between its roots is still the same as well. He knows this is for Hana but... the memories come back strong for him, sitting this way, just in this spot and he suspects, maybe, his family did it for him too. He props up one of his legs and gestures to the spot against it, setting aside some of the food so he can hold out a hand to help her with hers.]

Come on. Perfect spot, just for you.

[ At this point in the evening she's almost expecting Shiro to be leaning down for a kiss whenever there's the slightest lull in their activities-- and she welcomes each of those kisses gladly, closing her eyes each time and returning them soundly. This time is no different.

And to the point, once they've found their spot (which happens to have a blanket on it? okay) Hana doesn't sit down just yet. Instead, she holds her arms out to keep the food she's holding out of the way and bends down at her waist to plant another kiss on Shiro's lips as the floral cascade in her hair dangles down and brushes lightly across his skin.

She can hear excited murmurs from the few people in this part of the park. She doesn't care.

When Hana pulls away it's with a smirk on her lips as she brings her arms in, handing Shiro some of the food she'd been holding and finally taking her seat with his propped-up leg acting as her backrest; her own legs are stretched out forward and together before she shifts, bending her knees with her feet to one side. ]

Hey, nice spot! It even had a blanket down already.
