THE LOVE LETTER MEME




It’s such a nice night, you couldn’t resist going out for a bit. As you walk around, you see a letter on the ground. What does it say?


“When the night sky wears the moon as
its pendant, I shall await you
at the dock.”


This is exactly where you are standing! Did someone drop it here, knowing you’d pass by? But who could that be?

1 – Post with your character, who just found the Love Letter.

Earlier in the day, someone else received the exact same letter… But they lost it somehow, and it handed up in your hands! And now, they’re headed to the dock for the rendezvous.

2 – Tag around! As you go to the rendezvous point, you see someone holding the Love Letter you received earlier… So it’s them who sent it? But they think it’s you who sent it. Awkward!

3 – Play out any scenario! Is it someone you know, a total stranger, someone famous?

4 – Don’t hesitate to change the setting or the time of the day!

[A love letter. When he'd first gotten it, he'd just stared at it, not sure what to do about it.

Finally, he'd decided to toss it and ignore it, figuring it was someone (probably Yuffie) playing a joke on him. But as the hours passed, he had to admit, he was kind of... curious. What could it hurt to go to the central square and see who, if anyone, was there? Embarrassing as the whole thing was. (It was no wonder it was generally so easy to prank him.)

Of all the people he might have guessed would be there waiting for him, however, Barret hadn't been one of them.

Cloud isn't sure what to do next, and as when he first received the letter, for a few seconds, he stares, wordless. Awkward.]

[He's never gotten any sort of letter like this before, and honestly, it confuses the hell out of him. It it supposed to be some kind of...love letter? No, it's too general for that, though it's hinting towards it nonetheless. Mostly, the Master is just baffled, but too curious to just let it slide, even if he has no idea who could have possibly sent it. No one's ever shown any actual interest in him before (which doesn't surprise him too much, considering his own craziness).

He finds himself now at the dock by the lake, feeling like a complete moron but needing to find out the truth behind it.]

[It's like something out of a romance when she gets the secret letter. She tucks it away among her things, face flaring red, until she can get away and find an excuse to go down to the docks.

The fact she can't find it later makes her a bit embarrassed, but it doesn't really worry her. She's used to losing things, it doesn't have her name on it come to think of it, and she knows where to go still.

Miraculously, she gets to the right docks and shields her eyes (despite the nighttime) to look around for the one she's supposed to meet.]

Eh...? The boy from before? [There's the blush again.]
