THE LOVE LETTER MEME




It’s such a nice night, you couldn’t resist going out for a bit. As you walk around, you see a letter on the ground. What does it say?


“When the night sky wears the moon as
its pendant, I shall await you
at the dock.”


This is exactly where you are standing! Did someone drop it here, knowing you’d pass by? But who could that be?

1 – Post with your character, who just found the Love Letter.

Earlier in the day, someone else received the exact same letter… But they lost it somehow, and it handed up in your hands! And now, they’re headed to the dock for the rendezvous.

2 – Tag around! As you go to the rendezvous point, you see someone holding the Love Letter you received earlier… So it’s them who sent it? But they think it’s you who sent it. Awkward!

3 – Play out any scenario! Is it someone you know, a total stranger, someone famous?

4 – Don’t hesitate to change the setting or the time of the day!

Oi, shut it. It just didn't come as I expected it to. Rarely ever happens, but I suppose it has to happen every once in a while. [a shrug]

[soundsofdrums]

[He flicks the Doctor's forehead.] Idiot.

[oncoming]

As if you're any better than me. [and he ruffles the Master's hair in return]

[soundsofdrums]

I'm a brilliant genius. You're the idiot who used to copy off of me in our first few years. [Before their rivalry really started heating up.]

[oncoming]

A genius?! Hah, are you serious? What about the time when you copied off of me in Transfiguration and Astronomy. I would never copy off of you, unless I was willing to fail.

Or the time when your books started to sing Christmas carols. Who stopped it? Me!

[except maybe sometimes. Like Potions because who cares about that???]

[soundsofdrums]

Oh, please, don't even try to lie to me. You used to be the lazy one, and I was the studious one. I've always gotten much better grades than you and you know it.

[And shut up those singing books were just an experiment gone completely wrong.]

[oncoming]

[fine, fine, time to drop the facade that never existed]

Oh come on, how can you possibly pay attention to the professors without falling asleep? I mean what's the point of learning the History of Magic if you can't witness it. All we can do is read it off some book. Transfiguration, come on it's not nearly as fun if you can't experiment with it, same with Charms! And so on and so forth, really it's just boring.

[responsible student life not really though]

I don't disagree. I'm much more of a fan of the practical stuff, anyway, but it doesn't mean you ought to slack off on your studies. But after all these years of knowing you, there's hardly a point in lecturing you now.

[oncoming]

Slacking off on studies that I'll forget by the time I graduate? Come on I have better things to do with my time. Being book smart is simple, just read the book. You're the one that always ended up in the front listening to the professor.

[he rolls his eyes.]

[soundsofdrums]

And you were the one in the back throwing paper airplanes at the back of my head and generally being a disruptive nuisance.

[oncoming]

I was simply trying to get your attention. Is that so bad?

[he gives him a small smile, quirking an eyebrow. Yes he is trying to pull off that same face he would always wear when he needed the test answers.]

[soundsofdrums]

[Damnit, not that face. Now he finds himself unable to do much but lean in and kiss that face.] You could have tried a less ridiculous way of getting my attention.

[oncoming]

[he smiles triumphantly] It was more fun that way. And it still worked.

[soundsofdrums]

Idiot. [He shakes his head.]

[oncoming]

I am not. Maybe you're the idiot here.

[says the one that places the both of them in dangerous situations more than once. But with his cheeky grin, it's obvious he's aware of that.]
