[In some magical, wonderful world El manages to make it out of things and goes home with the Wheelers. At least for a little while, until Joyce insists that El come and stay with her family and El is too happy to have someone who loves her like a mother should to protest. She's over at Mike's all the time anyway, and tonight is no different. There's some kind of gathering that she's expected to attend, and so she's up in Nancy's room, allowing the older girl to help her get ready. The noise coming from downstairs is deafening to her, but she wants to take the time to have a very important conversation.]

What is party?

[She's never heard of one before, and definitely hasn't been to one. Based on what she's seen and heard so far it seems like it's something teenagers do when their parents go out of town but you never can be too sure.]

[Heimdall as a mythos style God masquerading as a mortal high powered business man...]

Heimdall didn't relax easily, and certainly not in this kind of situation. He was here upon the invitation of his nephew. It was the only reason he would be in this situation. A low class beer in his hand, headache inducing music playing... A party the included mortals who looked about the age he did, though his was much greater.

His all seeing gaze was drawn to one of the party-goers as his nephews 'birthday party'. The man - he was male? - was bright and drew the eye, not just because of his clothing but personality as well. Seeing the mortal was about to have another collide with them he reached out and pulled the human out of the path of the drunkard just in time, letting the man instead stumble into the wall.

"I would be more careful," he said in a low, deep voice. Dressed in a casual suit he stood out in this crowd, unless he exerted the will to be left unnoticed, as he had been doing until that moment.

Oh, thank goodness, someone he knows.

Not that Morishige says as much, or gives any indication at all that he's relieved to see Shinozaki.

(Or - so he thinks, anyway. In reality, Morishige's acting talent has yet to outstrip his social awkwardness. He's definitely approaching her faster than he normally would, and some of the tension he's been carrying is easing away.)

"Class rep," is all he says, giving a polite nod of acknowledgment to go with the greeting.
