The impression Angel got from Heimdall was that of a man who was kind at heart and that was the kind of person Angel always found herself drawn to, whether platonically or romantically. She always counted herself lucky to run into someone like this as the world wasn’t exactly full of kind people.

“It’s wonderful to meet you, Heimdall!” She beamed happily. “Are you enjoying yourself at the party so far?” Her eyes searched his curiously. Somehow he seemed like a mystery to her. There was something about him that seemed layered, complex. There was more to him than met the eye and she wanted to learn all there was to know.

“Your nephew throws quite the soiree.” Her eyes roamed the area around them. It was practically humming with activity.

Heimdall couldn't repress the little bit of a laugh that left him and the warm smile that appeared. "I'm fairly certain the delight is all mine in this meeting," he said, clearly enjoying the conversation. All seeing as he was Heimdall tuned most of it out, focusing on what he termed as important events. This left him missing things like small moments that were happy and positive, like this. A kind soul interacting with others. Now, though, he was going to be sure to keep and eye and ear on Angel. Lighten his days up.

"I am now," he said in response to if he was enjoying himself. His nephew was a young demi-god. Half human, as it were. Rambunctious and a bit of a trouble maker. Though by and large, he meant no harm. "He does, much to my sister's chagrin. I take it you are enjoying yourself?"
