[ Barry might have handy-dandy accelerated healing, but it still takes time to heal. The Glades really aren't the best place to hang around at night. As evidenced by the long slash down his side from trying to stop a hold-up. He could've dodged, if he'd wanted the guy to get sliced in half. Since he generally liked it when people stayed in one piece, he hadn't.

He also didn't want the attention of stopping a robbery, as much as he usually reveled in it. He wanted to get away and get back to his real mission in The Glades. And maybe find a few bandages first. ]

[Today had started unlike most; today, Fíli had most of the day to himself. There were just a few household chores to do, like always, and in between letting laundry on the line dry and getting the prep work for dinner out of the way for their mother, Fíli had the thought then would be a good time for his usual grooming.

It was only every few days when he'd shape up edges and trim down his beard (despite the occasional flak he got) and normally it was quick work. Normally, his blades were sharper, and now he's too lazy to go out and sharpen more when it was practically all he did yesterday. So he's more careful than usual when he adds more pressure for a decent pare, and with all the lather from the soap it really shouldn't be a surprise he nicks himself.

And yet it is, if only because the pain from a dull edge smarts more compared to a sharp one—making Fíli flinch and turn that nick long and deep. The flush caused by embarrassment doesn't help him bleed any less and quickly it starts to look like someone tried to take his head off. He'd keep to the bathroom and clean up but he knows their mother (ironically) would kill him for staining her good cloths.

With a hand pressed tightly to his throat and blood coloring his neck and the collar of his shirt red, the blond starts the journey across the house to he and Kíli's room. He's sure there's an old, tattered tunic he could use that no one would miss for a temporary bandage.]
