1. Sprain/strain. How did you screw up walking?

3. Cuts. Hopefully one of you has a sewing kit.
4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.

HOW'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.

WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

[She sucks in a breath as the solution touches her open skin, but it's quickly replaced by a flirtatious smile, right at home on her face.]

[ A killer's touch is hardly gentle, and Nyssa - while careful with her toys - has always had them replaced when they're no longer of use. But Ta-er al-Usfar is different; she is bright and warm, sweet as Koshary tea with the sting of mint. Every faint brush of her fingers on Sara's skin is measured. She is precious. ]

[Her wound still needs to be bandaged up, but that can wait. It hardly seems important in the grand scheme of things, when Nyssa's right here, and they have some time alone. They so rarely get time alone.]

[ She presses a strip of gauze and tapes it down expertly, then curls up on Sara's other side. They have a few hours until dawn wakes the city, and it's warm here. Nothing like the cold of the mountain seeping in through the stone walls. ]

You finished earlier than expected. We aren't due home for another two days.

Huh, was it really that quick? It felt like it took forever.

[But then again fighting off a pack of genius birds could throw off her sense of time. She'd never been particularly good with it anyway.]
