Monster Transformation meme

(warning: body horror)
Whatever you were before, there's something inside you that needs to surface. You can feel it coming, fast or slow. The change will be painful, and not pretty, and it comes with strange cravings. Can you count on anyone to help you through it? Will your friends accept you in your new form?

Do Gargoyles eat Whatevers?
no subject
He just eats rocks and stuff now. He's really protective of the Shack now though...but I think as long as you don't break anything, he'll be fine.

[Once inside, his eyes grow wide. The signs and stuff outside had been neat but WHAT THE HECK WAS ALL OF THIS STUFF? A thing about being a sphinx? You were part cat. And cats are curious. He strays from Dipper and starts poking his nose into everything he can reach. A Cursed Crystal Sun-catcher dangled in the window and Maurice's first shiny new instinct was to extend a paw and bat at it.]

[He stops when light catches the corner of his eye, causing him to look over.]
Dude! I said don't mess with anything!
no subject
Uh...sorry...
[He slinks away from the TANTALIZING DANGLY THING with his tail flicking low around his ankles.]
I might be able to carry you up there on my back.
no subject
[He lifts a hoof cautiously, looking down at it before lowering it back to the floor with a small click.]
Well, we're gonna have to go up there anyway. That's where the light is.
no subject
[He bows down and spreads is wings. He can't help frowning at them. They're so SMALL.]
How long have you not been able to go upstairs?
no subject
A while now, but it's not much of a problem. I, uh...don't like staying indoors too much anymore anyway.
no subject
[Maurice is careful not to dump the deertaur in his climb, digging his new claws into the wood of the stairs. Soon they arrive on the landing and he goes right back to oogling everything. There were BOXES up here. God, had he always loved boxes this much?]
Has the whole town stopped living in houses?
no subject
[Like vampires.]
no subject
Have...you tried jumping back in the river? Or does that just turn you into somethin' else?
no subject
That doesn't work. If you've already turned into something, touching the water again doesn't really seem to do anything else.
The journal hints at....something being the cure, but like I said it's...really vague.
no subject
Dang. Well, there went my idea.
[Before he realizes what's happening, he's trying to cram his grown lion ass into the box, his wings and fluff spilling over the sides.]
I was kinda hopin' it'd be like my boss's old computer. Sometimes you gotta turn it off and back on again.
no subject
He smiles when he finally finds the light, pulling it out from somewhere beneath his bed.]
Okay, here we go. Let's try reading that page again...maybe there's something I'm missing that you might see.
no subject
How old is that journal, man? It almost looks too old for there to have even been blacklights when it was written.
no subject
I don't know...I guess old enough for whoever wrote it to have some sort of invisible ink on them. Maybe they just never expected for that part to be able to be read.

[Dipper makes a face once he gets to where he was looking for, flicking on the light and holding it near the page.
Now, a hastily scribbled drawing of the river itself can be seen above large print: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!]
no subject
There's gotta be more than that!

[One corner of the box finally rips, spilling Maurice onto the floor.]
Are we supposed to find Monster Jesus?
no subject
I...I honestly have no idea. I'm no closer to finding the cure than I was two weeks ago.

[The Sphinx Express stands up to allow Dipper back on. He doesn't know where the phone is and he doubts he can dial or even hold a phone with his dumb paws.]
