These are my confessions.  
HOW WOULD THEY CONFESS?

Because you headcanon about this. Don't lie. I can tell.

Your character's finally confessing how they feel to somebody! Oh God, it's happening! But what words are they saying? How are they saying them? Or, actually, what're they NOT SAYING? WHAT ARE THEY DOING?

(You know some characters would do the absolute most vs. others hardly breaking a sweat.)

This is not a drill. It's a confession they're afraid they might not get to make another time, cried out in the heat of battle. No, wait, it's a preplanned affair complete with a giant "I LOVE YOU SIGN" as they nosedive into shark-infested waters...that are on fire??? Possibly, if we're wrong about that, it's a casual admission over coffee, sandwiched between compliments about haircuts. Whatever the case, the flavor fits your guy, gal, or nonbinary pal to a T. Their big show of romance...starts now.

How to Play
❤ Info. Prefs. Quick, get it done.
❤ NO BLANK TOP LEVELS. This is in media res, no time to waste, your character is confessing literally at this very second and you gotta give us a rundown of what's happening. That can be a line of dialogue. Or action. Whatever. You gotta.
❤ The person who replies to you is the one getting confessed to? Most likely? But they also might be a supportive friend testdriving your character's method or some rando who got in the wrong place at the right time.

YOU MAY KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY - OR YOU MAY NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU'RE NOW PASSING THE TIME ASKING EACH OTHER QUESTIONS. IT'S A GAME! A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION. YOU START OFF ASKING YOUR OPPONENT A QUESTION OF CHOICE AND IF THEY ANSWER IT, THEY'RE ALLOWED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION IN TURN. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ANSWER THE OTHER PERSON'S QUESTIONS ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS YOURSELF, BUT THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF TRUTHFULNESS HERE, LIE IF YOU MUST OR WANT, JUST KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING.

How to play -
1. Comment with your character's name, fandom and preference.
2. If you want, leave a question in the comment field that your character is asking their opponent. Or don't. I'm not the cops.

How romantic! "You're beautiful." "Pass the ketchup." "Your shoelace is untied." "PUT YOUR HANDS UP OR I'LL CUT-"

Okay, not all stories start off on equal footing, but this one is yours.

how to play
+ Comment with your character, preferences, and a random line of dialogue.
+ That's the first words, as serious or as stupid as they are, your character says to their true love.
+ The folks responding? You guessed it, the poor saps lucky souls who will, eventually, get into a romantic relationship with this tire fire.
+ Who knows how that happens? It might take years. Right now, don't sweat it.
+ Just dialogue back and forth.

how to play
- comment with your character, prefs, what role they'd play (praise-giver/praised), etc. if your character's the type to throw out the positive reinforcement, your one-line starter can go in the top level! (ie, "good pet," you know how it do)
- on the other end of the spectrum, should your big dumb mess want to soak up all that affection, people commenting to you will bring the line of dialogue.

The Lap Pillow Meme

From TV Tropes: A good way to show the physical intimacy and trust which a couple have is to rest one's head on the other's lap. Usually, the man does the resting while the woman provides the lap, not only because of anatomical reasons but because the lap-owner is typically of a nurturing nature more associated with femininity. Bonus points if she's feeding him grapes or stroking his hair. In some cases this is done between people who are not necessarily lovers, to comfort someone who is weeping or injured.

Or, in the case of the meme: screw the rules, we'll do anything. Maybe they're tired and just found a good place to rest? Maybe both parties were asleep? Hard to tell. All we know is, someone's head is going to be on another person's lap. Shenanigans will ensue.
