 The Little Death. The Big O. Many euphemisms for the same occurrence. We've got pre-smut memes, mid-fuck memes, all the memes, but...where's the release in that? The catharsis might come when your character does, if we're honest with ourselves. Huh? Huh? So, what's your well-researched meta theory about how your dude or dudette busts their nut? Do they curse? Call out their lover's name—or someone else's? Buck up, up, and away like a bronco? Make the ugliest face? Now you'll know. More important, you'll know what happens afterwards (it can't be that bad. They've only been laughed at once.) HOW TO PLAY - Top level with your regular preferences and et al. Don't leave your comment black, though! Slap together a word, a line of dialogue, action spam; sky's the limit. - Others reply to you. Smut it up, smoke a cigarette, or stare into the abyss as you battle existential disturbances. - This meme can be sexy. That said, it's also really, really, reeeeeaallly dumb. Don't be afraid to embrace the stupid. Caress it tenderly. Just be up-front about what flavor of thread you want. Serious or crack, what's your pick? |

Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.
How to play -
1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have (no shipping, no smut, etc.)

 Arranged Marriage Turned More To have and to hold, you said, till death do us part, all while the sharp, swinging pendulum of obligation hung overhead. But how could you have truly meant those words? This union has been tainted from the start, forever bearing the chains of an arranged marriage. It would be understandable if you couldn't bear to look at your new life partner, eternal reminder of your stolen future that they are, much less like them. Much less love them... Still, things can change. You could realize that they are in the same boat as you or, that when compared to others around you, they are the lesser of evils. Perhaps you even open up to the idea of a friendship; at the very least, an alliance may be in order to become a power couple in a perilous world. From that innocent decision or sense of self-preservation, a new feelings sparks. Something like affection. Something, you realize in the wake of speeding heartbeats, like love. Will you acknowledge this? Can the two of you have a happily ever after - happier than if you'd met in another fashion - or will you hold firm in your distaste? how to play. - Everybody loves "couples forged by less-than-ideal circumstances" tropes! Welcome to the Dolphin Hotel! We may not be the Plaza, but we take pride in our elegance and operate at 90% capacity most nights. Unfortunately, we're almost all booked-up at the moment, so we're going to have to put you in room 1408. What do I mean by have to? Oh... well, nothing serious. Enjoy your stay!
This meme is based on the film/short story 1408 by Stephen King. For reasons unknown, 1408 has been the site of multiple suicides and dozens of deaths by "natural causes". It does not kill people directly. What it does is lock them in and put them through so much psychological and physical torture that they kill themselves. Various features of the room change and warp into more gruesome versions of itself. And it takes special pleasure in using any painful memories or regrets in the character's past to break them.
Oh, and it promises it will do its best to kill you within an hour. If it doesn't succeed the first time, well... it can always rewind time and make you live it over again.
