You've known this person forever. Wait. Reverse that. Scratch it out. You've never met this man in your life. No matter what the case may be, you've still got one little niggle in that brainpan of yours while they're standing in front of you.

You have to say, out loud, the one thing you find intrinsically, insanely attractive about them. Physically. Mentally. Randomly. After being familiar with them your whole life. After meeting them two seconds ago. You have to bear this burden. What's better (or worse)? They have to do the same in return. The two of you, stuck in this tango, must continue until someone breaks the curse, all secrets are revealed, you go insane, or kiss.

All of those options all at once is also accepted.

A confession! We all love a confession! Grab the popcorn!  
HOW WOULD THEY CONFESS?

Because you headcanon about this. Don't lie. I can tell.

Your character's finally confessing how they feel to somebody! Oh God, it's happening! But what words are they saying? How are they saying them? Or, actually, what're they NOT SAYING? WHAT ARE THEY DOING?

(You know some characters would do the absolute most vs. others hardly breaking a sweat.)

This is not a drill. It's a confession they're afraid they might not get to make another time, cried out in the heat of battle. No, wait, it's a preplanned affair complete with a giant "I LOVE YOU SIGN" as they nosedive into shark-infested waters...that are on fire??? Possibly, if we're wrong about that, it's a casual admission over coffee, sandwiched between compliments about haircuts. Whatever the case, the flavor fits your guy, gal, or nonbinary pal to a T. Their big show of romance...starts now.

How to Play
❤ Info. Prefs. Quick, get it done.
❤ NO BLANK TOP LEVELS. This is in media res, no time to waste, your character is confessing literally at this very second and you gotta give us a rundown of what's happening. That can be a line of dialogue. Or action. Whatever. You gotta.
❤ The person who replies to you is the one getting confessed to? Most likely? But they also might be a supportive friend testdriving your character's method or some rando who got in the wrong place at the right time.

This may be the only way you know how to do it. But you could actually never do it this way; this is the first time you aren't ridiculously rough. Or it could be the first time, period. You're scared of hurting them. You're scared of them hurting you. You want to escape from the world falling down around you. You want to celebrate victory. You have to say hello. You need to say goodbye. You have to say "I love you" when you can't find words. You want to teach them that this is okay. You're broken and you need them to fix you.

What you want to do is take your partner - take them slowly, take them lovingly. Who you are, what you've done, and what you're like outside this moment doesn't matter. You want to love them and do so gently, with kisses and gazes and the release that brings you the closest together you've ever been.

You need this.
