love letters + shipping texts meme

  • comment with your character.
  • other people will reply to you.
  • your characters (in a relationship, in love, in some sort of attraction that gravitates around the other, in idk 'love' is a many-splendored thing) are communicating via: passionate confessions written on parchment, furtive notes scrawled in code, passive-aggressive post-it notes, messages carved in trees, smoke signals, instant messages on space age computers, text messages complete with lovey-dovey pictures, whatever!
  • have fun!

  • Top levels in this meme are for original characters only! Canon characters may tag around as they please.
  • Anyone top-leveling is strongly encouraged to tag at least one other person! Give what you hope to receive.
  • Include some info about your character, or a link to their bio/stats page (especially if they are from an original universe as well).
  • YMMV. Don't be a jerk, and don't get discouraged.

The TSUNDERE Meme

What?! Hey, don't get the wrong idea! It's not like I made this meme for you or anything...

HOW TO PLAY
  • Comment with your character, preference, and what role your character will play - the straight man or the tsundere.
  • Reply to others.
  • RNG for prompts.

CONFIGURATION
  • One Tsundere: Somebody here has the patience of a saint.
  • Double Tsundere: Oh god how have you not destroyed yourselves and everything you come in contact with? But neither of you had anything better to do than spend time together, so don't read into it.

MODE
  • Tsun: Ugh, what a pain. You totally don't want to be by this person's side. They don't understand you (or your feelings) at all!
  • Dere: They've done something very sweet for you. SHUT UP SHUT UP you're not blushing. You have hay fever! ...but you guess that it's nice of that person to notice and care.

The ❝Girlfriend Significant Other Experience❞ Meme

Sex is nice, yet it's no connection if there's no investment. You can have all sorts of sex and still be as alone as can be.

It's terrible to be so lonely, isn't it? There may be those of you who think you are just fine without someone to love, but you're truly not. Even if you have a significant other, they may not be played they could very well not be here in this massive multiverse with you - and that's just as good as being alone. No one deserves that feeling, not from the very kindness to the worst people in the world. There should be someone for everyone!

This is easy enough to achieve. Just a change in a few lines of code, really...

You wake up in a room in a home that could be described as your ideal, whatever that is. Modern, old-fashioned, futuristic, the setting is whichever you would be most comfortable with. Yet this new environment is not the most important feature here; instead, that honor goes to the fact that you are not alone. You are sharing this place, which seems familiar like a far-off dream, with another person. This person claims to be your significant other. But that can't be right, can it? You don't know them at all, they have to be crazy.

Still, they want to love you, show affection, be intimate, like they claim you two "always are." That's...nice. Suddenly, you feel less alone, even if you never knew you felt that way before. And the sex - the sex is mind-blowing. There's emotional weight, there's contentment, there are arms to hold you and make you feel wanted.

Perhaps they're right. This is where you belong. After all, you're starting to remember, too, and everything is seeming more and more familiar.

For just a little while, why not have some peace?

How to Play
  • Some happiness for characters before the end of the year. Or some existential crises. However you'd like to play it.
  • Comment with your character, preferences, kinks, and any other information you'd like to include. Also, if you have a strong inclination to play the person waking up in the environment or the "significant other," clarify.
  • Reply to others.
  • Feel free to tweak the setting, the premise, or anything else. Pick any time during the scene or make up any ulterior motives there could be. Fluffy or sinister, take your pick!
  • Just use this to whatever end you'd like. Have fun!

p r o m p t s

  1. just because: you were just thinking of them and got them something.

  2. interested: what better way to ask somebody out on a date than presenting them with collateral?

  3. courtship: you're old-fashioned - or from an old-fashioned society - and to pursue someone, you have to present them with a gift to make your intentions known.

  4. serious: be it an engagement present or something else, you want your special someone to realize that you want to take things to the next level.

  5. ownership: the present's twofold; it also shows everyone else that this person is yours.

  6. apologize: oh. you've really, really screwed up. can you make it up to them?

  7. special occasion: ordinary gifts won't do for a birthday, anniversary, or wedding.

  8. homemade: this is no purchased trinket. you made it with your own two hands.

  9. priceless: the item you give came at great cost, is an heirloom, or previously owned by someone you love.

  10. gag gift: ...hopefully they won't kill you.

  11. gift gone wrong: or be killed, maimed, or deeply offended by your gift.
