[ seriously though, talk about timing... sable is a grim reaper in training who is Doing Her Best but failing spectacularly at it. while she is dead™, her reaper status grants her the ability to make herself visible and corporeal to all ye mortale folke for optimum shenanigans. and while she's technically only supposed to do so for ease of those who are passing, she sometimes gets carried away when she visits the physical realm and likes to... meander. learn.

she also gets lost frequently and has a hard time reading her job assignments, so she could very well be convinced your character is meant to die and be very, very wrong about it.

For once, Tomoe's excitement is genuine. Her family has been estranged from the Yukina clan of exorcists since Tomoe was born and being an orphan meant she had little exposure to other mediums beyond her own mother who has since passed.

It doesn't help that the Yukina style of banishing wasn't orthodox. They don't establish a link with the spirits like the Ghost Masters, instead Tomoe snares the spirits and forces them to possess her so she can steal their abilities. It came with all the dangers a possession entails, evident in Tomoe's tainted and warped spirit energy.
