The Anonymous "Would You?" Kink Meme

 
So, picture this. Your character just got asked by someone else if they'd do something of a dirty nature. Maybe they're lying in bed with someone, hanging out at a bar, stuck in a cave, on the battlefield, whatever. The point is, they just got propositioned for something. So, will they?
THE RULES
  • ANONYMOUSLY post a top level kink. Please don't post any prompts logged in! This way, multiple people can make use of your suggestion! You are neither obligated nor encouraged to respond to everyone that tags your suggestion, anyone is free to play in anyone else's prompt.
  • RESPOND with your character journal to your own and/or others' prompts that interest you. You may claim that your character has just had that kink proposed to them, or that they're the one proposing it. Set the scene if you like, and include your relevant information in the subject line!
  • REACT to others' responses. Is your character intrigued, disgusted, offended, overjoyed, embarrassed, disappointed? However they feel about it, there ain't no unringing that bell. Talk it out, and hey, if they're feeling bold, why not go right ahead and give it the old college try?

You just woke up, and something is wrong. The radio is playing the same song from the day before. The weather is exactly the same. Your dog is sleeping in the exact same spot, your mom just burnt the same waffles. Today is yesterday, and you've already gone through everything that's about to happen again. Nothing you do carries over from day to day, no one else remembers a thing that you or anyone else has done. Even death has no permanence in this world. Will you get out there and find the key to breaking your time loop? Will you surrender to the despair of being forever stuck in time? Or will you embrace the fact that there are no more consequences in life and you can do whatever you wish? Let's find out.


the rules
  • Comment with your character information and preferences. Let people know whether you'd like to play the character trapped in the loop or a bystander caught up in the madness around them. Pick from the prompts below, or let your taggers decide.
  • Keep in mind that this meme will necessitate clear communication if your characters are close or are assumed to have been in contact before during the time loop! OOC planning before playing out threads is a great idea.
  • Tag around, have fun, don't be a jerk.

  1. the second go-around: What's going on? Why is everyone acting like yesterday is today? This isn't normal, someone explain all this!

  2. it's been a while: You've got a couple loops under your belt now. You don't know everything about everyone, but if you go about your usual day, you know exactly what's going to happen. Maybe it's time to start switching things up?

  3. forever and a day: How long has it been? Months? Years? Decades? You lost count a long time ago. You know how every moment of every day in every location you can reach is going to go down. All that's left to do is find ways to mitigate the endless tedium.

  4. something's different: You've been at this for a while, but this is the first time anything has changed. Today isn't exactly like yesterday. Is it a glitch in the loop? Did you do something to change it? Is this a one-time thing, or will every day be like this now?

  5. you aren't alone: There's someone else trapped in this loop with you. Maybe several someones. Are they new to the repetition? Did they start at the same time as you? Will they remember any of this tomorrow?

  6. the answer is right there: You know what you have to do to end this, it's simply a matter of setting up the dominoes to pull it off. Will you stop an apocalypse? Save a life? End one? One day at a time, you get a little closer to having a tomorrow.

  7. the end: You did it. It's over. At long last, it's tomorrow. How long has it been since you woke up to a brand new day? How will you adjust back to a normal life? Can you go back to the way you were?

  8. wildcard: Got another idea? Make it happen, you've got all the time in the world.

Bruised. Beaten. Stabbed. Sapped of energy. Tricked. Mentally played and abused. Perhaps you've even seen your home world destroyed, depending on how Homestuck you are. Any way you slice it, characters go through a lot of crap.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to see them get pampered and taken care of when they're ailing. In canon, they may not have someone who can provide them with care when they're injured, support and love when they're sick, and physical intimacy all around. In this post, AU or other scenarios can provide them with a caretaking partner of their very own (or, maybe, someone to take care of, if the reverse is their preference). So, for once, weary traveler, you don't have to carry that weight all by yourself.

to bring you out of the darkness;

The injury may not be a temporary physical or mental one, however. Some characters suffer more deeply, even if they don't know it. Darkness covers their hearts, they're withdrawn, insecure, angry, or lonely. They need someone to reach out to them and show them unconditional love.

This post can provide that, too.

Whether it be the cliche and shameless "changed by your love" trope or something more subtle like getting someone to open up, the characters here can offer that and more. All are welcome, they just have to take that first step.

They may be an adventurer, a rambler, a gambler, banished, always on the run, a wanted criminal, someone with a higher calling, or just someone who isn't allowed to be where they'd want the most, they'll always find their way back home - a home, as a matter of fact, they share with you, though. And they'll, again and again, find themselves wanting you, for support, for care, for healing, for feeling alive, for venting frustration and anger, for anything and everything at all.

You'll welcome them with open arms. Because home isn't a place - it's a person.

  1. Comment: prefs, info, preferred role, etc. Is your character the one coming home or the home being returned to?
  2. Reply: to others. Are your characters married? Lovers? Roommates who are more than friends?
  3. Thread: with them. Domestic shit like meals that can't be taken for granted, angsty/fluffy reunions, cuddling, even reunion smut if that's your thing (just be mindful of people's preferences).

The Dating Meme



Dating is, when you think about, really weird. It's a totally different thing for different people. Some are friends for years before they date; others start dating on the same day they met. Sometimes, there's a lot mushy stuff involved; other times, the couple acts just like friends. None of this is necessarily right or wrong.

Whatever it is, your character and the character you reply to are now dating. How? That's up to you. Whether it be awkward or not, the relationship will be uniquely theirs.

DEVOTION

They showed you kindness, perhaps in a way you'd never seen before, perhaps in a way you can never repay. But you're trying; in exchange, you're offering your loyalty, for how much or how little that's worth. For them, you'd do anything: you'd fight, you'd protect, you'd be their right hand or their biggest advocate, if they needed it and you can offer it. As long as you get to stay by their side, it doesn't matter.

So, you certainly don't have to worry about your bond surpassing what you have now or becoming romantic, do you? That will just get in your way of being there for them. Since you've only got their best interest at heart, it won't bother you if someone else were to pursue them...

...right?

As long as you get to stay by their side. As long as you get to fight for them. As long as they need you.
