There's nothing in this world quite like a true, blue best friend that you can rely on. They've been with you through thick and thin, good and bad. You want to have fun? They're the first person you look for, because they always know how to bring the best out in you. You need a shoulder to cry on? Don't worry, they're already here. You need to bury a body? ...you should probably reconsider your priorities, but you know your best friend will be there with a shovel and a smile. You'd never ruin this friendship for ANYTHING in the world.

Something's brewing that may do just that, though. One of you has feelings, has for a long time, and that spells trouble. Unless you keep that to yourself and remain platonic, of course. Repression in this case might be a good thing.

Only it's too late. The cat's out of the bag, whether it's by confession or by accident. What to do, what to do? If feelings aren't returned, can you turn down a friend, or will you force something that isn't there just to make them happy? If feelings are returned, will you risk changing the perfect thing you have?

  • The premise of the meme is simple. Two characters, lovers, have been separated for a time. How long is up to you, as is the reason for the separation. Was it unwilling - an imprisonment, a required journey - or because of a choice one of the characters made? The reason may, of course, color the reunion, and somebody may be pretty miffed, with good reason. Still, the theme is the same: intimacy after being apart.
  • This meme is mostly geared towards being a smut meme, but nobody will judge you for just doing so heavy fluff.
  • Reply with your character and preferences.

ANDROID BULLSHIT MEME


You live in a world where androids are the norm. Or maybe they're an underground movement that no one can track. How advanced are they? Are people worried about them becoming sentient? Are they becoming sentient? Maybe you're an android learning how to feel and you have to hide it from your owner. Maybe your owner is into that. Maybe you're an advanced model that licks things to solve crimes or something. Look, we don't know. Point is: androids. Whether you're here for romance, rebellion, or slice of life, have a good time playing it out here in a society advanced enough to have inorganic life indistinguishable from organic life.

• Top level your character. Are you a human or an android? Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the robocops.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to get away from all the hustle, bustle, stress, and expectations society puts on you - and if you have someone worth taking with you, all the better! Whether your relationship with them is public knowledge or a well-kept secret, you and your special someone deserve an equally special place where you can be safe and sound (not to mention relaxed) away from prying eyes. Is your secret hideaway a vacation hotspot, a place you own on the side...or somewhere only you know? As long as the two of you are there together, any place can feel like a home away from home.

Or, maybe, it may end up feeling like somewhere you'd never want to leave.
