There was something strange about Satoshi Hiwatari, not quite malignant but enough for Tomoe to follow him from a distance after school. She didn't really expect him to pass out in the middle of walking though. And without thinking about it, she possessed a nearby earth spirit to borrow its strength and to carry him back to her house.
Hopefully by the time he wakes, there's already a cold compress against his forehead.
