Now that you think about it, you have those memories too, and you begin to believe. Of course you're together. It makes sense. In some part of your mind, however, you just can't shake the feeling that this life isn't exactly what it seems. Despite that niggling whisper, the two of you are happy together, happier than you've ever been, and a genuine love grows. All that paranoia from before echoes only as a mental lapse or a mistake in judgement. You weren't wrong at first. On the contrary, your gut instinct was right. Secrets can't stay that way, no matter how you feel, and how both of you were put together will eventually be revealed. How much between you is organic and how much manufactured?
