1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?

3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

Taking hold of Nicolas’s wrist, he ignored the tacky wetness clinging to his fingers. No matter how careful he was, there was no way he could do this without hurting Nicolas. As he was about to start trying to shift the joint back into alignment he noticed something wasn't right and his thoughts turned to Nicolas’s chest and how much damage he'd taken.

"Stay with me, alright?" Mentally he winced when he realized he didn't sound like the previous persona he acted before the fight began. As he spoke, he began to move Nicolas’s arm, trying to be as gentle as possible.

"I'm going straighten this right here first." He was talking to try to distract Nicolas from what he was doing, knowing there was no way he could lessen the pain. Slowly - too slowly but he couldn't risk hurting Nicolas worse - he felt muscles shift beneath his fingers and the motion change, snapping the joint where it belonged.

He's also acutely aware of how things are - were? are - normally the other way around, and maybe there's the tiniest sliver of satisfaction, that for once, a wild card like Nicolas has saved him out of a shitty situation. Acts of boldness is not a ledger, and it's not like Miyoshi didn’t pull his weight during the fight, before or after the poker game. But still, it feels strangely satisfying to have someone on his side - or maybe that he wasn't the only fucking idiot here.

Yanking out a knife from his boot, he kneels down, slowly rolling Nicolas over, shaking his head disdainfully. "You look like shit." He grumbles, sticking the knife just under a torn piece of Nicolas’s shirt, cutting the material apart where he was bleeding.

He starts to apply pressure on any bleeding with cloth, and looks pointedly behind the counter where the bar tender was panicking at the scene. “Barkeep, can we use your back room?” Then back at the swordsman, "Can you stand?"

Her touch was gentle as if he were a wild animal, skittish and prepared to run. Across the palm was a narrow gash, as thin as a paper cut, but deep. The girl didn't know him from Adam. It was only proximity as they gazed at firearms decorated with marquetry, at Dar el Makhzen, that put them together. Her finger drug through the blood, supposedly to prod the wound to see if there was something embedded in it, something that was done, but primarily, she drew a rough circle in his hand. And if he didn't know better, the wound began to close from the very bottom of the cut, a cautious healing that wouldn't be discovered by the average man. Her contralto was innocent, but the girl knew more than she was letting on, "It doesn't seem very deep," or in a minute it wouldn't be. "Just a scratch."

[The life of a Time Patroller is a risky one but Tomata wasn't expecting this mission to go back in time and destroy some time traveling enemy to go this badly. She'd found the villain before he effected the flow of history too badly but he'd been stronger than she'd anticipated and the Trunks of this timeline had ended up having to interfere and help her win. How embarrassing. She was going to get scolded by her Trunks when she got home, she was sure of it. Even though they'd won, Tomata had somehow ended up with a broken leg, no healing capsules and a Trunks that was far too attentive for her to escape to her time machine. Though she wasn't sure the capsule hadn't gotten smashed during the fight anyway.

Tomata's ki finally gave out and she fell to the ground (insert Generic DBZ Wasteland™ here), clutching her leg and cringing through her other, much more minor, scratches and bruises.]

[He'd sort of had to give Bucky one or two points for helping Steve break them out of prison. And after that... well, he'd tried to stay detached, remember that behind the face of Captain America's best friend was the same person who could blank out if he just heard a particular set of words and try and kill them all, but it was pretty hard to watch the biggest and most justified case of PTSD he'd ever seen walk around and not remember why he became a counsellor. To help in a way he could. Bucky maybe isn't coping the best he's ever seen, but he is coping more than Sam really expected.

He's not actually sure he can help Bucky at all with the brainwashing and the come-down from that, but he can at least lay off the tension a little. Give him a chance to maybe be a person, without the wariness of Wanda, or the expectations of Steve.

Plus, sometimes, it's easy to remember he's human. When, slightly hampered by only having one arm, Bucky manages to fumble a glass and then cut his own foot on the shattered pieces, that's definitely one time, and one that has Sam reaching for the first aid kit when he sees it. Regardless of how he does or doesn't feel about Bucky, he isn't leaving the medical care to someone else. Without his wings and Redwing, he's not really feeling all that useful, so it's nice to have a problem he can do something about and is trained for.]
