Threesomes are incredibly fun to play. After all, if two is good, three has to be better! Unfortunately, the logistics of threading them is a nightmare. Good luck getting two people on the same page, much less three. So why not cut out the middle man? Most of us play more than one character. One person being open to doubling up means that two people can play a threesome.

The meme itself is simple. Whether you want to play one or two characters, any configuration of genders, kinks, and what have you is all up to you. Just put in your comment and play!

There's a name on your wrist. Maybe you were born with it; maybe it arrived around the time you reached adolescence. It's spelled out, in clear script - the script you learned to read first, your native language. It's the name of your soulmate.

What would a world like this be like?

Fucked-up, that's what.

PROMPTS:
Choose just one, choose a couple, mix and match. Do what you want.

RELATIONSHIP
1: ORIENTATION CONFUSION. The name on your arm is the wrong gender. Maybe you thought you were straight, but the name is the same gender as yours. Maybe you knew you were gay, but the name is opposite-sex. Maybe you just didn't want anyone to know, and you hide your arm, pretend to be something you aren't. But there it is - the evidence glares at you every time you brush aside your sleeve. The name has to be right. Doesn't it?
2: JUST PLAYING AROUND. You're not soulmates with the person you're with. You're just playing around. Or maybe you're really in love - and no one will believe you. How do you face the complete inability of society to accept you? How do you face the inevitable, fated end of your relationship? How can anything be important, when you know it won't last?
3: ONESOMES, THREESOMES AND MORESOMES. You're soulmates with person A who's soulmates with person B who's soulmates with you. What now? - Or maybe you're meant to be in a polyamorous relationship. Or you're asexual, and the thought of that name fills you with dread.
4: ALONE. Your soulmate died. Your soulmate never showed up. Your soulmate never existed. Or your soulmate refused you.
5: FIRST TIME. You've never dated anyone else before. What would have been the point? And now you're moving in, you're getting married - why wait? You're soulmates, aren't you? What could go wrong?
6: TOGETHER. Yep. Here we are. Here you are, and here I am, and here are our names on each other's arms.
7: OTHER.

STAGE
1: INVESTIGATION. So there's this name, and you've plugged it into Google, and the only match you can find is some asshole's Facebook account. He looks like a real jerk. Or maybe you got nothing, and you hired a private investigation firm that specializes in this kind of thing. Now you have an email address, or phone number, or a home address, and what's next is to pick up the phone, write that letter, knock on that door.
2: REVEAL. A superstar's name is on the wrist of a teenager. The President's name is on the wrist of her opponent. Your name is on the wrist of someone in jail. Turns out that name on your best friend's wrist was yours - only you never knew, not until you found out who your parents were. You've just discovered your soulmate, or just revealed yourself to them. What next?
3: GETTING TOGETHER. You're in the early stages. Dating, maybe. Getting to know each other. Moving in, under the watchful eyes of other friends, happy and soulmated and eager to have their view of the world confirmed in you. But do you even really know this person? What makes you so suited, anyway?
4: TOGETHER FOREVER. Maybe you've been together thirty years, and you still have that same fucking argument about who washes the pans after you cook a steak. Maybe you sit in silence because there's nothing to say, and it's incredibly boring. Maybe you work in harmony, but you wonder: is it because you were supposed to be together all along, or just because you never had another choice?
5: TECHNICALITIES. Society won't let you get married. So what if you just change your name to the name on her wrist, and she changes her name to the name on yours… Or maybe you can't get insurance, because you're not married with a soulmate. Don't have the right to vote. Can't get promoted in your job.
6: A BROKEN SYSTEM. Soulmates might be perfect, but people aren't perfect. The world isn't perfect. And this world has screwed you over, time and time again. But - maybe you still found a way to be happy.
7: OTHER.

There's a beauty in the buildup - of a relationship, of desire, even of lust. In a television show, a long-running comic series, or a well-paced movie, couples to be worth their salt have a reasonable amount of will they/won't they. That creates anticipation and investment, and the resulting payoff is beyond satisfying. Unfortunately, in meme RP, buildup isn't often an option; your hands are tied unless you want to stick with canonmates or characters you already have CR with. Not exactly the most conducive tagging environment!

This meme isn't a perfect remedy for that, but with an assumed CR element, it's a step in that direction. The premise is simple: the two characters threading have clearly been wanting each other for a long time. What a long time is, of course, is up to you, whether it's weeks, months, years, what have you. There may have been glances, subtle touches, love from afar, or maybe something as concrete as a discussion of their situation, though most likely not. What there hasn't been is sex...until now. A release to all this tension is imminent, and you get to play it out. Rough sex, romantic first times, calm moments, all scenarios are welcome here as long as they fit under the banner of "finally getting together."

Unlike most Hollywood features, true love and a happy ending is not guaranteed, but that doesn't matter. What does is characters being with someone they've wanted, even if just for a little while, and muns get to play out smut with a bit of "umph" and weight to it. Here, there's something at stake, and the inevitable is long past due.

They say curiosity killed the cat. Good thing you're not a cat...probably. No offense to any cats out there, literal or metaphorical. But you are curious, though, curious about intimacy and sex, whether it be in general or with this specific person. If it's the former, perhaps you've never had sex before and want to know what it's like, at least once. Perhaps you're interested from a scientific view, and someone's agreed to show you. Maybe you want to test yourself, your control, or any new abilities that may throw a spanner in the works. Or, you know, you could just want sex. If you're curious about this particular person, it may be because of their abilities, their history, or their body - maybe even their species' anatomy, if they're of a different origin than you.

Whatever the case, this is a learning experience, and you're testing the waters. That means, in this meme, there will be a lot of exploration, a good deal of foreplay...and maybe some emotions, too. Take it slow; remember, you want to know every nook and cranny of their body and everything that makes them tick. This means you may not get to the actual sex. There's a chance you may not even want that, depending on who you are and your situation. And that's fine. You're learning things and feelings things, and they say knowledge is the pathway to freedom.

and the snow's beautiful tonight

stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.


scenarios;


① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
