 hurt/comfort smut;meme Bruised. Beaten. Stabbed. Sapped of energy. Tricked. Mentally played and abused. Perhaps you've even seen your home world destroyed, depending on how Homestuck you are. Any way you slice it, characters go through a lot of crap. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see them get pampered and taken care of when they're ailing. In canon, they may not have someone who can provide them with care when they're injured, support and love when they're sick, and physical intimacy all around. In this post, AU or other scenarios can provide them with a caretaking partner of their very own (or, maybe, someone to take care of, if the reverse is their preference). So, for once, weary traveler, you don't have to carry that weight all by yourself. | |||

 That all changes once you see them, and your life is changed. As you get to know this person, survival or success seems to no longer be your only concern. Your world is molding, shifting, integrating them into your priorities. What will you do when you realize this? Accept it with gusto and hope to be with them forever? Distance yourself because you cannot be distracted? |

 ( inspired by a fairly obscure video game, Love Story ) Here's the thing - you're dead. No matter your precautions or lack thereof, you've reached the end of the line. Rotten luck, huh? Actually, you're one of the lucky ones, because you've been sent back. As a ghost, admittedly, but at least one person can see you. And that's key. The conditions of your return, both to the mortal coil and, eventually, back to your body, is that you get them, your sole witness, to fall in love with you. Oh, you also have six days. Easy enough.

Handcuffed Together Meme
There's the cool sensation of metal around your wrist, followed by a sudden click as you realize you've been cuffed to someone else. With no way to get them off, and the keys missing, you're going to have to get used to being stuck together for now.

 twitterpated: adj. Smitten or love-struck; romantically infatuated. Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: you're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather; and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!

 The Shouldn't Consummate Meme For all intents and purposes, the two of you are already together. Okay, at the very least, there's a spark, and it's been noticed. At the very most, perhaps there's been a love confession. Whatever it may be between you, love or lust, you've, oddly enough, not made the one plunge: you've yet to sleep together. Why not? It's complicated. It always is. There's something that keeps you from making that full commitment to intimacy, and whether that comes from physical or mental blocks doesn't make too much difference. Tonight, though, you've decided to put all of it behind it. You're going to consummate your relationship, no matter what guilt or complication you may be left with. This will work. It's worth it, at any rate.

The (possibly AU) Sibling Incest Meme
Incest is, despite its taboo nature in most societies, actually a pretty popular convention in both romantic fiction and works of a more erotic bent, in everything from period or fantasy pieces to series taking place in places like modern day Japan. Still, the most common configuration in these fictions are the pairing of siblings. Perhaps this is because of the usual lack of age difference and power dynamic that exists in child/adult relative pairings, though this is not always the case. Because of this, a sexual or romantic relationship between siblings can almost seem, well, romantic in the right light. Of course, more often than not, there's a dark side under the veneer of forbidden love.
