Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: you're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather; and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!

you and your partner on the same wavelength about a lot of things, but sex isn't one of them. one of you may identify as asexual or just have a very low sex drive for any plethora of reasons, while the other ranges anywhere from "normal" to fully gutter-minded. you may be just about to discover this, currently working it out together, or have established a compromise that works for both of you. (or maybe you couldn't and it's a break-up meme.) there are no prompts, so however you would like to play it is your choice.

Perhaps it's the setting that seems so separate from our own time, thus making the whole thing feel more exotic or epic. Besides, the codes of attitude! The costumes! The traditions! The disease and early death!

According to more than a few traditions, the concept of a "soulmate" is not just about who you will end up romantically. It's about who you've begun with, across time and space, in many different lives, and who you'll be reincarnated again to meet once more.

But what if somehow, somewhere, wires got crossed and you ended up closer to the one you're destined for than most would think. In fact, you've been with them since your conception into this lifetime: they're your twin. Hardly anything could be more connecting than that, when you think about it. There's no one who understands you more or is more of your other half, and you entered this world together...but you can't be together, no matter how your souls are linked.

What sin did you commit in a past life? More to the point, will the two of you give in to a near-cosmic, ancient desire or become "platonic" soulmates, always first in each others' hearts, yet with something between you unspoken?

Wherever you meant to go is not where you are. When you look back, there is no door.

A hallway stretches out in front of you, with branching corridors and closed doors as far as the eye can see. There are hints of other people around - sounds and voices of others who have found themselves trapped in this space, or those who were originally here. Not everyone is friendly.

Just remember: any door you go through will cease to exist. You must go forwards to get out.

...Will you make it?

*It doesn't have to be a hallway, you might end up in a kitchen that tries to eat you, or knee deep in water of a basement somewhere, though you were just on the 13th floor.
