The Icons First Meme




The premise is pretty simple:

1) Go to post a comment.
2) Before you type anything, click the "Random icon" button.
3) This is now your icon. This is the expression your character has. This is what she is wearing. This is what he has in his mouth. This is what is happening.
3) Your tag must now be based on the icon.
4) Reply to others, always choosing a random icon first.
5) Let the hijinks occur!

Note: As the poster of this meme, I have no problems with porn icons, and in fact think they can add to instruction #5. Just give your threadmates a little warning for a happy and healthy meme-ing experience.

Picture this. One day, your life is going on as normal, everything is perfectly fine. The next day? Everyone starts to get a little sick. A flu bug, they say and boy they are not kidding. A weaponized strain of influenza, nicknamed "Captain Trips" has been accidentally released. This triggers a pandemic of an almost apocalyptic nature, given that 99.4% of the world's population is dead by the end of a very, very short period of time. After that? Well. After that, things start to get a little strange. That's when the dreams come. When people are drawn to either the Boulder Freezone or Randall Flagg. Towards being good or being...pretty evil.

the tarot meme

The rules are quite simple. You reply with your character's name in the subject line, and wait for a reply. The replying individual rolls a number 1-15 on random.org and uses this number to base their tag off of. If you have any preferences or ideas for settings or situations, feel free to put them in your post so that the roleplayer replying to you can play off of that.  Whether you believe in Tarot or the mythical, it could be a little fun to have your character's card read. Hell, perhaps they are having their cards read, and they are skeptical themselves...

( The cards give you images and symbols to focus your vague intentions and transform them into action. Your will is the magic. )
