The rules are quite simple. You reply with your character's name in the subject line, and wait for a reply. The replying individual rolls a number 1-15 on random.org and uses this number to base their tag off of. If you have any preferences or ideas for settings or situations, feel free to put them in your post so that the roleplayer replying to you can play off of that. Whether you believe in Tarot or the mythical, it could be a little fun to have your character's card read. Hell, perhaps they are having their cards read, and they are skeptical themselves...

1. The Fool. In general, this card would indicate new beginnings that have some deeper spiritual meaning - for example, starting a meditation practice or a relationship, as opposed to buying a new pair of shoes. The appearance of the fool can depict an important "fresh start."

2. The Magician. The Magician is about making higher - and better - use of all of one's power. Spiritual, emotional, and otherwise. This is another card that often signifies new beginnings and great expectations. This is a very powerful, positive omen in a reading. This card reminds us that we have the power to make a difference, in our lives and in the greater world, if we simply make a point to try.

3. The Empress. The Empress is an archetype of feminine power; she is watery, hard to fathom, mysterious, fertile, and sexual. She augurs a need for us to be in touch with our feminine side, to listen to our intuition, and to give priority to our emotions an passions. She can signify coming abundance.

4. The Emperor. The Emperor shows us that domination of the mind over the heart is sometimes not wanted, but in some cases is it necessary and even welcomed, and that this is part of what we must think about when he appears. When hard choices must be made it's important to maintain your concentration and focus, and this is something this time period will make it easy for you to do. Enjoy the assertiveness and confidence it that this self-control and focus brings. Forge ahead and do what you know is best. If you can master yourself then you should have little problem mastering the world and all the things in it.

5. The Lovers. : The Lovers is associated with the astrological sign of Gemini, "The Twins." It almost always points to partnerships with just one other person; generally, and not surprisingly, this indicates a romantic partnership, but of course this is not always the case. Less frequently, it points to the duality that all of us have inwardly - between male/female, yin/yang, approach/avoidance, and the like.

6. The Hermit. The Hermit is an extremely spiritual card, and often has to do with institutions and large organizations - everything from a bank to the entire Christian Church. This card indicates spirituality even if you are an atheist. It's in whatever sense the word "spirit" makes sense to you, even if for you "spirit" equates to "emotion." You may be trying hard to figure out what the "truth" is about someone (or some matter), don't feel that you have to do it all on your own, ask for help if you need it to gain different perspectives, more information, etc.

7. The Wheel Of Fortune. The Wheel of Fortune tells you that in general, it looks as though things are changing. In most cases, this indicates positive, needed changes but for some people, change itself is very difficult and can almost be traumatic. This is a very spiritual and "Karmically" oriented time. Change is part of the cyclical nature of life.

8. Justice. Justice deals with the idea of karma and the law of cause and effect, stating that all events, and all people, are connected. It's important to remember that not everything you are dealing with, however, is a direct result of your own actions or karma. Sometimes you will be called upon to deal with the results of the actions of someone you care about, and this can sometimes be as difficult and demanding as it is when you're up against something that is completely of your own making. Don't blame yourself unnecessarily.

9. Death. Death does not necessarily, or even usually, indicate physical death. In fact, in general, it is considered irresponsible for readers to predict physical death, as we are creatures with free will, and such things are not written in stone. This card simply indicates transformation and change. This is definitely a time of deep transformation, likely to be both inner and outwardly in your life. Situations, things, and people that you have counted on or gotten used to may no longer be available to you in quite the same way as they once were, and this transition can be difficult for some people.

10. The Devil. The Devil is not as frightening a card to interpret as the depiction on most cards indicates. It is a card about bondage but often this bondage is metaphoric and internal. With this card you are called to look beyond superficial appearances and to go deeper into the truth and meaning of a situation. You also are asked to remember that when you're feeling restrained you nearly always hold the keys to your own freedom. Don't give up hope!

11. The Star. When the Star appears, you are likely to find yourself feeling rather inspired. You will be feeling more hopeful about the future, and more confident that your needs - whether these are emotional or financial needs or both - will be met. This is also a very spiritual card. You may find yourself for a time feeling at one with all of creation. Savor it.

12. The Moon. The Moon indicates that things may seem somewhat confusing to you now. You may find it hard to understand where you are coming from, much less what others are thinking and feeling! You need to try to sit with the uncertainty, don't try to force things or people to do things before they are ready. This card is the "Pisces" of the tarot deck.

13. The Sun. When the Sun card shows for you, it's a sign that soon you are likely to find yourself feeling more free than you have in a while - maybe years. This is a great time to take a vacation and to experience different things. The Sun is about vitality, freedom, joy, and self-expression.

14. Judgement. Judgment can be a card about jumping to conclusions, decisions and judgments. which are too hastily made. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down and give things more thought and to give people "more chances." This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.

15. The Hanged Man. The Hanged Man generally shows that you are at a crossroads - one with only two options i.e. in or out, up or down, yes or no. You may find yourself very much wanting to do "something" but having no idea what it is or how to do it. If that happens, that's a clear sign that you should stop, relax, and look at ways that you might need to let go of attempts to control life/situations/people/things.

[ She has lived in her new home for months now, which technically makes it less of a new home, and more of just a home. The friends that she left behind in the move have all kept their promises, and once a week her mailbox is stuffed so full of excitedly addressed letters that she has to very slowly pull it open, as not to allow the precious slivers of paper to escape prematurely. Even her new school is less frightening than she had initially feared; the teachers all smile kindly, and there is a boy who reminds her of someone that she can't place, a boy whose friendship she earned on the first day she attended, but --

But something isn't right.

And it frustrates Chihiro.

Her feet carry her blindly, as there are still places that she has yet to explore; places that should she discover, perhaps the insistent tugging in the corners of her mind will be soothed, and the frustration she's found of the last few weeks will die away. A gentle breeze nips at her cheek and prods her forward, encouraging, as she catches sight of a butterfly. ] Oh. [ Her pace speeds; she's speed walking, jogging, and then running blindly in hopes of catching up with the brilliantly colored wings, hands outstretched in attempt to reach it. ]

[ Hong Kong is big; loud. Gisele minds it less than she thinks she will. She finds an apartment that's tiny and cramped with wallpaper that peels in some places and a shower that has the worst water pressure in the world, but it does the job. For all that money is luxury and luxury is nice, Gisele doesn't mind this — sometimes that's the price you pay for having pulled off a heist, in all cash, and having to spend it without pulling red flags.

She buys furniture. She gets a job. (She likes routine.) She clumsily tries to make her way through cantonese, having third grade conversations with Mei-Li next door like what is your name and where were you born that finally, after a few months, makes its way towards more complicated answers that Gisele doesn't lie about. She cleans her guns and keeps her combat knife sharp, but none of that means she expects to run frantically through the markets trying to avoid a shoot-out three weeks later.

She doesn't expect to be saved, either, by someone pushing her out of the way without ever touching her. Gisele's not the type to second-guess. She knows what she saw, even if she hit the ground so hard there's tiny cuts in her palms from the shattered glass.

As soon as the breath's back in her chest, like maybe her legs won't give out under her: ]

[Naminé isn't moving fast enough, but Terezi tries anyway, tugging at her hand and grinning back at her. Her cane is tucked under her armpit, abundantly useful as it doesn't touch the ground or lead her at all, and yet she dodges every branch and tree, pulling Naminé along like a lifeboat off one of the supply ships that comes to the border of the water on the other side of town. She trusts Dave--long legged Dave, stupidly, unfairly tall--to keep up on his own.

They come to a creek and she forges through it madly, stomping across mossy stones on bare feet and only feeling a little bad when the splashes get the hem of Naminé's dress wet. Halfway through she halts, dropping Naminé's hand and sniffing down the length of the creek.] I bet if we searched in here we could find frogs or crawfish or some shit, [she comments enthusiastically, kicking a rock over with her toes.]
